Nice resort with helpful attentive staff. Would watch being put in a room near the restaurant as can be a spot noisy early mornings but otherwise a lovely resort. Highly recommend the sushi restaurant Yakuza.
An absolutely beautiful resort with great facilities and amenities. The resort is set a little bit away from Caiscais City Centre. It's an easy Bolt ride to and from town. The rooms are extremely spacious. We ate at both restaurants on the property. The sushi restaurant is high-end in is probably the best sushi we've ever had. The glass Is there other restaurant and the wine selection and staff in that restaurant is just absolutely spectacular.
Rooms were very clean and equipped with everything needed. Breakfast was beautifully prepared and delicious every morning. Staff was always willing to assist with our needs and getting around the city. I'll stay again for sure!
This is a beautiful, well appointed, first class resort. The staff was extremely helpful and courteous. The dining was superb and the entire hotel was immaculate. We will definitely return.
Very comfortable and relaxing stay for the family. Pool is a lot of fun for kids. Wish they had more kids activities before June, and a better lobby bar. The spa/gym/pools was excellent, and the staff were so helpful and friendly.
Staff were the best. Our Daughter had her second birthday while staying at the resort. The staff made her day extra special with decorations and even a present. Cant say enough how special the staff made her and us feel. Also amazing place to relax in a beautiful landscape.
From check in to check out, they provided excellent customer service! I was very happy with our room, the food in the restaurant was delicious and the service was very friendly and accommodating. I would recommend this place!
This was our second time at the Sheraton Cascais and we will be returning. Rooms are spacious, beds comfortable, breakfast is excellent, staff friendly and helpful. What’s there not to like?
Love this resort, we did enjoy it at its off season; the weather was mild at the end of November and only got 1 rainy day. Staff is friendly and helpful. We have a lovely 2 bedroom suite and kitchen and living rm, the only thing I would have to say is that we kept having issue with internet and that was do to the room’s router which they replace a day after we arrived.
Dining options were limited and not convenient to public transportation.
Limited to no phone/internet signal on property.
The staff was accommodating and the property and hotel are nice.
Great hotel in general. Friendly staffs. Nice relaxing area by the pool. Rooms are comfortable.
No proper bar for evening drinks. Staff try to be accommodative but something missing for a 5stars hotel.
Last thing, tipping is optional but even if you don’t tip there will be a 10% added to your bill…
Overal satisfied with my stay. We will be back.
Location extremely odd, a car journey away from anywhere. Feels like you are in a modern country club without the facilities and you have to drive a semi industrial estate to get there. Overrated here. Decent size rooms but no walk in shower or coffee machines. Very strange for this price level.
We arrived comfortably at the resort, which is set in a quiet and beautiful environment with plenty of parking spaces. Although we had booked a one-bedroom suite for a night, we were upgraded to a suite with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The small spa in the resort was perfect for unwinding, and I appreciated the good exercise equipment in the gym.
Even though we only stayed for one night, the spacious kitchen, living room, dining area, and terrace made us wish we could relax there for a month.
One issue we encountered was with the hotel's restaurant. Whether it was due to an event on the day we arrived or because it was the off-season, the restaurant's menu lacked variety, and the service was very slow. We saw other guests complaining, so we decided to go out to Cascais for dinner. It turned out to be a good choice.
In many ways, the stay was like my previous two visits: the room was comfy, the grounds pretty, the breakfast buffet a good one. But there were a few problems/flaws.
1) Between booking the reservation and showing up, the time for when kids may use the indoor pool changed, and it was changed to a time that made my son using it impossible. These things happen, but it's irksome when that was a key reason we were there in the first place.
2) The front desk billed me for two tourist taxes, even though my son is nine and therefore exempt. I didn't realize this until after the fact. It's a small thing, but still.
3) I'm a builder, so of course I noticed the gaps in the LVP flooring used in a recent renovation. It's the kind of thing that if it had happened under my supervision, I would have demanded it be redone or else fired the subcontractor.
