A bit outdated hotel, nice location and service

The hotel is in a nice area, in front of the city Cathedral and its park, with several restaurants and boutiques nearby. Breakfast is more simple than in other Clarion hotels we have been (no salmon and no waffles for example), but still good. Rooms are a bit outdated which make them look not fresh, but amenities are comfortable.

Spa & Gym were closed for repairs, clogged drains in bathroom. Declining standards evident throughout - damaged rugs, lightbulbs needed replacing, scuff marks on doors and walls. Good food and reasonably comfortable room but nothing exceptional.

The hotel is located within 4 minute walk to bus stops and to the city center. The breakfast and afternoon fika are great. The dinner is okay and there is plenty of salad and soup to keep hunger at bay. The room was clean. When checking in, the hotel staff informed us that the keycards were not working due to a system malfunction, but this issue was fixed the following Monday morning. The hotel lobby is a relaxing and welcoming place, and there is free coffee available throughout the day!

Extremely average. Not worth the peice

Extremely average. For the price, it was an absolute disappointment. 160€/night. No bathtub, no minibar, no netflix, hbo, disney+ etc. Nothing. Not even a toothbrush! "Thats 1,5€ extra sir" Breakfast was fine, there were plenty of options, however: The juice was watery, the scrambled eggs were made from that typical eggpowder thing that nobody likes, and the bacon was overcooked. Coffee was neither weak, nor strong. The yogurt options were good and the porridge with the "true" lingonberry jam was great!
