At check-in and checkout the staff was great. Our room was dirty. There was trash under the bed and in the desk drawer. The microwave was filthy. There were handprints on the mirrors, windows, and walls. I don’t know what was all over the tv screen and fridge but the place clearly wasn’t cleaned. There was toothpaste on the bathroom counter and the shower wasn’t clean. I had to ask the assistant manager (who wasn’t great at all!) at 11:30pm for a bottle of cleaner and a rag. He barely said five words to me and never even apologized. It honestly looked like all they did was change sheets and added some new towels. Won’t go back.

The guy at the front desk was not welcoming at all. Went in to ask was a room available from a long 8hr drive. He said no. Online said 6 rooms available. I went back to my car book online and returned back into the hotel 20 minutes later and the guy looked at me crazy after I told him I have an online reservation. All he asked for was my reservation number my ID and gave me my room keys.

Came in late…nobody at the front desk. That’s fine- helping customer. No light when we entered room….had to find a lamp. This was a quick stop along our road trip. Tv didn’t work, room felt worn. It was under $200- so I guess you get what you pay for. Morning front desk guy didn’t acknowledge me. Again- for a quick reset, it was fine.

The hallway carpet was constantly soaking wet with a fan blowing on it for the entire week stay. The room had a cellar spider in the sink and another unknown small spider in the shower. Under the bed were multiple items of trash and food, including an edge of a condom wrapper that weirdly was placed in a small Ziploc bag. The desk chair was covered in food crumbs in a way that would only happen if someone wiped off the desk and let the crumbs fall onto the chair and then didn’t clean the chair. The good things are that I got the room for approximately $60 a night, free limited item breakfast, and no bedbugs were found.

The motel was clean, they had the room cooled down from the heat, before I got there. There were plenty of parking spots. I stayed for 3 nights, and never had an issue with service or issues with anything. The breakfast had the basic waffles, cereal, bagels, toast, and breakfast bars. There were no doughnuts or other breakfast food. It was fresh and plenty of the basics with orange and apple juice, coffee, and tea. There was a vending machine with snacks and drinks. The only thing I did not care for was the ice buckets were in the eating area and so was the ice machine. There may have been more on a different floor. Overall, it was a nice and quiet place to stay.

The staff at this property were some of the friendliest we have met on the road in a while. It was also one of the first properties we have stayed at that we didn't have a complaint about the room and had to be moved. I was thrilled with the staff and the room as a whole.
