"Had a wonderful 3 night stay here. Originally a prison, it has been converted into a quirky, comfortable hotel retaining many of the features. The bedrooms were cells, small but well equipped with ensuite bathrooms. The position is slightly outside the centre of Stockholm but all the better. Situated on a lovely peaceful island within walking distance to Gamla Stan and the museums. The breakfast is amazing with an enormous variety of choices. The staff were friendly and helpful. "This is my second stay here and the property just opened a few weeks now. Everything about this property is perfect. The staff, the location, the cleanliness, the beautiful rooms, the public space and vibe here is just amazing. I can’t remember the English guys name at the check in but he is Ace. Supermarket within feet and lots of restaurants including food truck for authentic food and if you need a McDonald’s fix… right there also. I’ll def return next time I am in town."

"Check in once we got to the hotel wasn’t great as we couldn’t enter the building. When someone came out we entered. The check in wasn’t in English on the laptop. We called the number with the phone they supplied on the wall and got through straight away, within 5 minutes we were in our room. The apartment was great, compact, but had a mini kitchen. "The room was clean, but I was very disappointed with my stay. The room was a semi-basement room with a shared bathroom, which was not clearly described on the booking platform. When we arrived, the window was left open. Because it was positioned very high, my husband and I, both in our 70s, could not reach it. The open window affected our sleep and comfort for two nights. "Really beautiful hotel. The room itself was nothing super special, but the bedding was amazing. Bathroom was really nice as well. Beautiful lobby and the breakfast was absolutely wonderful. Don't skip the breakfast. Very friendly front desk staff. Great location. Would definitely recommend this hotel."

"Decent size room with a large comfortable bed. Disappointing view out of the window but I suppose not everyone can get a scenic view and we weren't there to look out of the window. Excellent breakfast with the best part being watching impatient Americans guests open the waffle maker halfway through the cooking time and getting a slodgy mess. Helpful staff."
