"We stayed in a standard room in the main building and it was so lovely! The breakfast was awesome and the walk down to the village was convenient. This hotel has a lovely restaurant attached with great food. Zaros Lake is just around the corner. My favorite part was the spring water running down the side of the road. A very lovely village to visit on your trip around Crete."

"The house was a lovely old Cretan house renovated to a high standard, and Popi was a wonderful, helpful, and knowledgeable host - really friendly and full of suggestions of where to go next. You will need to have a car to get around as it is not at all central, and do not expect a modern building - but it was full of character and the aircon worked very well, so in my eyes it was perfect! I would happily stay here again, and hope to do so some day in the coming years."

Best to get google maps to bring you to Krousonas town center and then put in the property address. Google maps in Crete will have you go down goat paths and should not be trusted. "I did not eat breakfast. I had small meals and snacks and they were good. The road outside was noisy from 7 am to after midnight The facilities have been recently upgraded and are well designed and attractive "

"Well, most of the clerks were great! One of them, Georgia, has perfected herself. I thought it would be best to encourage guests to make an audio recording for each interaction. If you doubt that you behaved perfectly with her, you can play it and review it If you are imperfect, like myself, it can be a source of frustration.She let's people know if they made a mistake, with her eye contact and tone of voice."

"Great location. Clean. Friendly and helpful staff. If you're driving, parking is bit of an issue. There is a public parking lot close by for 12 euro a day with in and out privileges for those staying at the hotel. The complimentary breakfast buffet is worth staying here alone!!"
