All in all a very good hotel for the price!

Great hotel, very nice staff, excellent location and breakfast.There was no mini bar in our room despite having a price list. Pillows were terrible and the layout of the room wasn't good either as the AC wasn't cooling the other side of the room.

Loved in general. Receptionists ate great, but some additional training wouls be beneficial. Hotel was quiet, the receptionist with russian accent was unpolite. I asked to be checked-in one hour earlier, she gave me a look and she gave me short answer: no! The same answer could have been with smile, I would understand it better. And I know other hotels are much better with receptionists. Either way, restaurant was excellent. Room was clean and nice. Shiwer a bit small, but everything was good. I'll probably will stay next time, and will try to be prepared for unfriendly receptionist.

Overall Good (with Some Small Issues)

My impression of the Liva Hotel was generally good. The quad we booked was clean and had a fair amount of space (better for three, to be honest). The price paid overall for the evening was fair. The attached restaurant is also very good, although breakfast is not included (and, comparatively, not cheap). Some minor concerns: the neighborhood can be quite loud. Second, parking is extremely limited and you have to make use of an adjoining public parking lot if the hotel's lot is filled. Lastly, you need to use a keycard to access the hotel's elevator (good for security) but not the stairwell (not so good). The beachfront is also a good distance away and not easily walked, although a Bolt will only set you back a few Euros.

Great value for money

Fantastic! We paid 33EUR for 4 people per night! I lost booking confirmation and was worried if I'll be able to check-in, but everything was ok, lady at lobby found my booking everything went smoothly. Free parking at the front of hotel. Excellent location, good breakfast (a bit expensive 12EUR/head), but there are some nice alternatives around to have great morning coffee an meal. --

Verblijf Liepaja

Het hotel was schoon en zeer goed verzorgd. Wij vonden de receptie medewerker (Vica) wat nukkig. Bovendien was gratis parkeren beloofd, terwijl dat niet zo was.
