"The set-up for the room was definitely interesting. Right at the front entrance there's a landing area to put your bags and a little coffee counter, and the bathroom. The bedroom was up a very narrow set of circular stairs. The quarters were set up nicely considering the vertical layout, but we found it a bit tight. Going down those stairs to the bathroom in the middle of the night would not be ideal if you're not very able bodied. The staff was over the top wonderful, helpful and communicative and the location of the room was amazing."

"I had a great stay here, the apartment is very comfortable and the location is amazing. But the small size of the bathroom and shower will cause some challenges for a lot of people. It was not a huge issue for me but I'm a small person. I don't know how normal size people could shower in that shower, it is really tiny. And the stairs leading to the apartment (from the street) is tight and could be problematic if you're a tall/big person with big luggage. But again, for me, it was fine. The amenities of the apartment are great, it was really convenient to have a kitchen and laundry. The bed was comfortable too. Overall I had a great stay and it was a great spot to base myself while exploring other cities and towns."

"Directly in the heart of the old town, Ilenia runs the most pleasant and happy small hotel(?). If you’re looking for hotel based activities this isn’t for you. If you like older buildings with beautifully renovated rooms capturing their history, this is the place. As for the soul of this location is Ileana. She will make you her guest and provide you all you need to know about her beautiful town One note, if you have physical difficulties this may not be the best place. The historic center doesn’t allow vehicles, is quite hilly, and primarily cobblestone paths. "

"We loved our stay here. It is a beautiful boutique hotel in a perfect location to explore Monopoli. The beach area is right across the street and many great amenities in the area. The rooms were spacious and beautifully decorated. We really enjoyed the rooftop pool and lounge area. And breakfast was perfect. We will stay here again!"
