"For a motel, this was such a pleasant surprise, modern, clean and well equipped. The only negative (that didn’t warrant a reduction in rating) was only one chair outside on the patio! I did scout the neighbours and managed to ‘obtain’ a second chair so we could sit outside and enjoy a nightcap!!!"

"What a beautiful, intimate, quaint cottage and only 10 minutes from the vineyards. Helen was the most lovely host, very knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble. It was so peaceful and it felt like we were stepping into a cottage in the rolling hills of England. We loved our stay, the lovely breakfast each morning and definitely will be returning in the cooler months to sit around the beautiful log fire with a bottle of the Hunter’s finest."

"Stayed here for a couple of nights to be close to friends The standard room was a bit small but perfectly formed Comfortable bed very clean The lady on reception was lovely just what we needed after a long drive The communal kitchen had everything you needed perhaps a little worn out around the edges but fine Would definitely stay there again Lovely garden A little oasis"

"The bush room was very comfortable and I'm sorry we weren't able to see it in the daylight as I think the views from the little outside balcony would have been brilliant. (arrived late and off before dawn for the Anzac service). A little care to be taken going down the steps to use the bathroom in the main house, (as I said it was dark) but otherwise all good and suited our needs. Thankyou to Grant for picking us up at the station as the train was very delayed."
