"Expedia description inaccurate yet again. Stated bedroom had air con but it didn’t Room not clean on arrival. Had to request it be cleaned on 2nd day. Property is very dated and needs refurbishing. Location is good and the outside pool area was nice. This is supposed to be a premium property but the accommodation is definitely not premium."

"Die Anlage ist wunderschön, sauber und gepflegt. Fast jedes Apartment hat Meerblick. Die Betten sind sehr komfortabel, groß und neue Matratzen. Wir hatten im großen Apartment 7 Schlafplätze davon 4 in Boxspringbetten und 3 weitere die auch sehr bequem waren. Wir hatten sogar 2 Badezimmer, 1 mit Dusche, 1 mit Badewanne. "A beautiful setting and we had a wonderful stss as y."

"We loved this hotel. Very well maintained, our room was modern and well appointed. The staff was terrific and really helpful. The hotel is slightly removed from central St Maxine, but that’s a good thing to us. The hotel serves a nice breakfast and they have a beach restaurant open until 6 right across the street. We would definitely stay here again."

"The hotel is across the road from the beach. Beautiful location overlooking the bay with Frejus and St.Raphael in the distance. Heaven. Staff all speak English and are multilingual. Beautiful terrace to sit outside for breakfast, cocktails or dinner. Excellent breakfast, yogurt ,fruit cereal. Hot breakfast of bacon and scrambled egg. If you want fried eggs you cook them yourself so getting them exactly as you like them.Quite unique!."

"Stayed one night for a concert, easy walking around to the beach and to the Roman coliseum, and staff was very friendly. Hotel had a decent breakfast, pool looked nice (wish we had more time to use it), and a very safe place. Would stay here again."

"Personnel et situation au top"

"This was a nice property to stay at just a little outside the downtown St Tropez. Easy to walk to into the village to explore but far enough to be quiet at night. The room was spacious and the pool was wonderful to swim in to cool off from the hot Mediterranean sun."

"It was a pleasure to stay at The Excelsior. Staff were great, rooms were very comfortable and clean, and great location."

"The room was beautiful, clean, and very aesthetic. The staff were kind and generous gifting me a hat and a beach bag to keep. Will definitely return. Would definitely recommend!"
