Perfect stay

An amazing stay at this wonderful B & B. Manuella was a great host explaining the best places to visit on Salina. The breakfasts were very good and made from local produce, with Manuella giving a detailed explanation of the produce. Room was very clean and a brilliant view from the patio where we had breakfast. We would thoroughly reccommend this property.

From the moment we arrived we were made to feel very welcome by Francesca. The apartment was spotless and tastefully furnished, with everything we needed. The outside area was beautiful with amazing views. I have never been anywhere so peaceful and relaxing with such great hospitality. Breakfast was amazing, with home made cake, juice and jam, plus fresh fruit and yogurt. All delicious. Our air conditioning stopped working, and was repaired within hours. The only down side was that we didn't stay longer. I very much want to return

Petit appartement correct et propre. La vue n’est visible que du hall d’accueil. Petit déjeuner très décevant. Pas de service de navette du port de Santa Marina, obligation de louer une voiture. Accueil agréable mais un peu junior pour le standing dont se prétend l’hôtel.

Extraordinary place on an extraordinary island

Al Belvedere is one of those places where you are torn between the urge to tell everyone how great it is and a somewhat selfish desire to keep it a secret. Everything about the hotel is great, from the location to the personnel to the food. We had an amazing time and will try to return one day.

Appena siamo arrivati sull'isola abbiamo ammirato il panorama che è bellissimo. Raggiunto la struttura siamo stati accolti dalla titolare facendoci vedere subito il nostro appartamento, che era perfetto, anche meglio di quello che ci aspettavamo. Dopo ci ha illustrato cosa potevamo visitare sull' isola e quello che si poteva affittare. la mattina la colazione era impeccabile (sempre diversa ogni giorno)e sempre attenta ai nostri gusti. Ci siamo trovati benissimo come se fossimo clienti non so da quanti anni, invece era la prima volta, e sicuramente non sarà più l'ultima. l'isola è carinissima, dall'alba (Leni) fino al tramonto (a Pollara). un'esperienza unica, che rifaremo sicuramente.

Quelle vue!

B&B sur la hauteur en surplomb de Rinella (arrêt de bus à proximité de l'hôtel pour éviter grimpette du port ...). Vue imprenable sur les autres îles éoliennes avec notamment un coucher de soleil "carte postale " sur Filicudi & Alicudi. Bon accueil avec raffraichissement "fait maison" & présentation de l'ile. Chambre propre & sans surprise. Petit déjeuner en terrasse avec toujours la vue imprenable. Que du "fait maison" (du yaourt aux patisseries en passant par les confitures), copieux, varié & délicieux avec explication détaillée. Calme & reposant.

Hotel mit Format

Bei unserer Ankunft hat uns schon das schöne Ambiente gefallen. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und bei Fragen hilfsbereit. Ein Highlighte war das Abendessen auf der Terrasse bei Musik und dezenter Beleuchtung. Das Zimmer war geräumig mit Schattenterrasse davor. Ein Rundbus fuhr ca. jede Stunde in beide Richtungen der Insel. (aber nur bis ca. 10.09.) Wir können das Hotel nur empfehlen.

Slow food op Salina

Francesca is een heel goede gastvrouw, die haar vak verstaat. Zij is heel voorkomend en vriendelijk. Gedurende ons verblijf nam het hotel deel aan een slow food event, waarvoor ook wij werden uitgenodigd. De moeite waard, mede omdat zij ervoor zorgde dat Engels sprekende deelnemers aan onze tafel zaten. Wij wensen haar verder veel succes!

Tolle Lage, sehr guter Service

Das Al Belvedere liegt in traumhafter Lage oberhalb des Fährhafens Rinella am Ortsanfang von Leni. Der häufig vom Hafen nach Malfa fahrende Bus hält (sofern man es dem Busfahrer sagt) 50m vom Hotel entfernt an der Straße. Wir hatten ein großzügiges Zimmer, das auch als Appartement genutzt werden könnte. Das Frühstück ist reichhaltig und wird mit selbst hergestellten Produkten serviert. Auch kochen die Gastgeber gerne für ihre Gäste mit heimischen Produkten ein köstliches Menü. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und stehen gerne mit Rat und Tat zur Seite. Das Hotel ist mit vielen Kleinigkeiten sehr schön und geschmackvoll eingerichtet.

Fantastic from start to finish!

After miscalculating the distance from the port (Rinella) to the hotel we walked. Don't make that mistake, there is a bus! When we arrived, sweaty and panting we were met by the wonderful Francesca with fig & cactus juice, some homemade jam and cactus fruit. The best welcome we had ever received. Francesca also put on dinner (for an extra charge) that was "traditionally Sicilian" and was the best dinner of our entire trip (and that is not said lightly). The room contained a comfy bed with a fridge, cooker and private veranda. The bathroom was great, although the shower was snug. There was very little natural light in the room but I don't see this as a problem and it likely contributed the great sleep. One tip for staying here: Rent a scooter for the entire time. There's a couple of friendly men beside the hotel that will rent. You may even get a better rate for being hotel guests!

Fantastic B&B

We were welcomed by Francesca and given dried fruits and juices. She gave us a map of where to go, how to get there and what her recommendations would be. The B&B itself was lovely. We had a very spacious room and everything was neat and tidy. We had to leave very early on our check out day so Francesca gave us some cake, juice and dried fruits the night before we we had something for breakfast! I could have easily spent more time there!

Herrlich gelegenes Hotel

Das Hotel liegt oberhalb des kleinen Hafens von Rinella, wo man auch einen kleinen aber hübschen Strand zu Fuß erreichen kann. Die gesamte Anlage ist sehr hochwertig augestattet und die Besitzerin sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Anlage ist sehr großzügig gestaltet, es sind Liegen und sehr gemütliche Sitzecken vorhanden. Der Sonnenuntergang ist phantastisch zu beobachten.

The view is the most spectacular ever! The hotel was very clean and the staff helpful. Info on how to get from the ferry to the hotel would of been helpful eg local taxi booked etc. Thank you Al Belvedere for an unforgettable stay!

Al Belvedere - stunning location, lovely people

This is a perfect place to stay at on Salina. The views are absolutely magnificent, the breakfasts were delicious (seven types of home-made jams, anyone?) and the women who ran it were delightful. Salina itself is idyllic. Although the hotel is up the hill a few kilometres from the sea, the stunning views more than make up for it. You can rent a scooter or small Fiat from a place next door and be in the crystal clear Tyrannian sea within minutes... Heartily recommended!
