Great place to stay.

Me and my wife stayed 4 nights at the hotel. We had a great stay and have good breakfasts every day. The host Lilja is a fantastic person who tell us about what we did have for breakfast and tips us about different places to visit. We can really recommend this hotel.

Lilja was the best host we have ever had. Our room was perfect. The breakfast prepared by Lilja was incredible, every day there was something delicious and different to eat. The best decision we made was to stay at visitHomes during our stay in the Faroe Islands. She recommended different places to visit and even prepared some breakfast items for us to eat when we left early. I am very appreciative for her kindness and care.

A charming home in the middle of Leirvik, just 10 minutes from the Klaksvik ferry to Kalsoy. Do note that the tunnel from Leirvik to Klaksvik comes with an added cost. Lilja does a fantastic job of making your stay personal and the homemade breakfast each morning is a great way to start the day! As I was the only one staying (there are multiple rooms that could potentially be rented out at the same time), I particularly enjoyed our conversations about Faroese life, culture, faith and tourism. She is more than willing to help answer any questions that you have!

The owner and her daughter are VERY nice and kind. One morning I could not wait for the time to have breakfast and she prepared a packed one for me the night before! Room is pretty small but cute, sometimes need to wait to go to the bathroom, but it’s ok!! Great place

Wir waren 5 Nächte in Leirvik bei visitHOMES und es war einfach wunderbar. Lilja und ihr Mann sind herzliche und aufmerksame Gastgeber, immer mit einer Geschichte über die Färöer und Tipps für Ausflüge zur Hand. Das Frühstück mit lokalen Produkten variierte und jeden Morgen waren in der Frühstücksrunde andere Gäste aus der Welt zu Gast, so dass wir zB nebenbei auch noch einiges über Argentinien erfahren haben. Die Lage ist sehr gut um den Norden der Inseln zu erkunden und wir kommen bestimmt wieder nach Leirvik wenn wir auf den Färöer Station machen sollen.

The hotel was busy !!!

The hotel was busy, even though the booking was made one month in advance, no one told me that the hotel did not inform them, I found out that on May 6, 2019, when I was to be accommodated and I found out that the hotel owner deducted me from the card the price for accommodation fourteen days before the start of the accommodation. I was forced to search for other accommodation and in connection with this, I am asking for a remedy by Hotels.com.

Little house with 2 little rooms. My single room was very clean but not so spacious. The bed was too narrow but I could sleep well anyway. Vilja and Johann (the owners) were so friendly and gave me a lot of tips. If you look for a single room it's your place.
