"Our stay at this hotel was marred by a very unfriendly employee as well as some misconceptions. The breakfast is twenty Euros per person. While it was adequate, it was worth about 10. For 20, I would expect more as well as the possibility of freshly made eggs. On Monday, the croissant felt like day old bread or purchased from the supermarket pre-made. "Everything is just perfect. The room, the spa, breakfast, the meals at the restaurant, the staff. One advice to the hotel: try to fix the shower slippery floor, it is way too slippery and dangerous, especially for old people. Everything else, just perfect. "We (family of 4 + dog) have stayed here overnight every year on our way to the south and we love it! Beautiful location (garden, woods, quiet, water feature), yet Zweibrücken’s excellent shopping outlet is just 2 minutes away by car. The rooms are comfortable and our dog was allowed to join us for dinner and breakfast (as an observer). There are two restaurants, but best to reserve a table in advance as the venue is often used for weddings (being a picturesque location). Highly recommended, and we shall return next summer!"
