I had a little difficulty finding the castle since I had incorrectly set my sights on the village of Perpezat. I was looking for "Lieu dit Perpezat" which landed me an hour from the correct village - Apchat."

Fijne voorzieningen, zoals restaurant, broodjes 's ochtends en natuurlijk een geweldig zwembad voor het kasteel. Vriendelijke eigenaar en personeel, uitleg over schoonmaak en afval kan nog iets beter, en iets meer schaduwplekken bij het zwembad zou ook fijn zijn, verder helemaal top. "

"Excellent traditional french logis hotel & restaurant run by the second & third generation of the family who created it from the family farm and full of old farm tools and implements. Very comfortable bed though traditional bolster with huge pillow and bed covers could be replaced. Very good traditional French country restaurant with local specialities and delicious local red wine plus good indoor swimming pool and views of the lovely countryside with sheep in the fields from the window. "This place was wonderful! It was spotless, comfortably warm (early spring), breakfast was great. The owner is absolutely delightful. There was even a place to park the car. Wonderful bathroom with shower. And for us most importantly, it was quiet. The stars were beautiful at night too. We plan on returning."
