Excellent service from the lady at reception, she couldn't have been more helpful. Its a budget hotel, so my expectations were not high and proved correct. Quite tired rooms, but very clean, no issues with that. Room was dark and shutters didn't open, perhaps to cut down the noise from the railway at the back. No dining or bar facilities; they do offer breakfast but I had to check-out early, so didnt try it.

Hôtel très pratique au niveau de l’emplacement pour moi car proche du lieu où je devais travailler. De plus la proximité immédiate de la ligne de tram est vraiment très appréciable. Petit déjeuner simple mais efficace, très bien pour attaquer la journée.

Très déçu. Ne vaut pas du tout le prix. Le personnel sympathique. Petit déjeuner correct. Du bruit toute la nuit à cause des voitures, du train, des bruits de visseuse à 2h du matin. Les clients qui parlent et fument sur les balcons sans se préoccupé des voisins. Quartier mal à l'aise.

Hôtel Villancourt

Hôtel permettant un séjour agréable à proximité de Grenoble sans être en plein centre-ville ce qui nous a permis de bénéficier d'un parking gratuit. La chambre était tout à fait convenable avec de l'espace de rangement pour les bagages ce qui a permis de laisser de la place à notre fille pour jouer ;). Salle de bain fonctionnelle et propre, avec douche. Petit-déjeuner buffet savoureux aussi bien pour les adultes que pour les enfants. Une zone des restauration à proximité très appréciable lorsqu'on n'a pas envie d'aller jusqu'au centre de Grenoble.

Basic, a little run down but clean & comfy

Comfortable stay in what I would describe as a budget hotel. The air-con unit in our room was so unbelievably noisy we had to switch it off overnight, the shower in my parent's room was also detached from the wall and so had to hold it up to shower. The service was good and the rooms were basic but very clean. We also had wonderful views out to the mountains from our balcony. Breakfast was better than I had expected!
