"Very nice front desk staff. They did do some updating to cabinets and counters in the room as well as the the hallways and front desk but the hotel definitely needs some TLC. The back entrance to the hotel, that was suggested to use, had a carpet of cigarette butts outside the door and was quite a sketchy, unkept area so we decided to park back at the main entrance. The room had an odour that just wasn’t good. We were thinking it was possibly from the carpet. The carpet in the room felt crunchy when walking on so we wore our shoes the whole time, the bathtub definitely needs to be refinished due to significant rust stains. The fire alarm testing went off at 5:45am, we had to go to front desk to see if there was a problem. The room has no soundproofing. Feels like the person in the next room is in the same room. The breakfast was fair at best. All the fruit was bruised, scrambled eggs were rubbery, tater tots greasy. "
