Booked and paid for the hotel in February… turned up on the day to check in and the hotel was closed. Have left 3 messages with their really professional (not) answering machine and am still waiting for a call back. How is it acceptable to take someone’s money and not provide the service? Even if we had stayed in a crappy room like other reviews would have been better than paying for NOTHING! Wotif have been no help. They have called the hotel… only to tell me that it’s closed. Oh really? Pretty sure I knew that already. Now waiting 3 days for a refund I will never get because wotif need to hear back from the hotel. Hey, if anyone else wants money for nothing, advertise your hotel/room on here, take the booking and then close down! Pathetic. Despicable. Beyond disappointing.

The room was larger than expected and the price was good given it was a holiday weekend. On the other hand, the remote for the bedroom TV was missing, the bathroom sink backed up whenever your washed your hands and the mini-fridge was set too low. The milk for coffee and dinner leftovers froze overnight. Otherwise fairly clean and tidy. Nice all rounder for a quick overnight stay.

Liked how cheap the stay was but we paid for what we got basically, the room wasnt in the best condition, TV was broken, no light cover on lights, patchy paint, single matress on the floor, wardrobe door off the runner and just sitting infront of the wardrobe, curtains were very tacky and half off the "hangers/runners" Not a very professional setting could be presented a little better

Just don't!

I opened the door, the smell hit me... extreme staleness. I thought this room, maybe not used much and had not been aired out. This weekend all hotels were booked out due to a sporting event. I entered, thought cute, but then... the curtains are hanging off the rails! What! It snowballed from there, we had 5 / 10 globes in the room. Hair in the shower!! Paint flaking / chipping off in shower, bathroom and toilet. Cobwebs. Dirt build up on the remote. Stains on the carpet. Fan caked with dust. A facewasher and handtowel would be nice! Just dont stay here!

The beds were comfortable and the bed linen was clean. Everything else was awful. Unhappy with the receptionist who "greeted" me on arrival. The check in process doesnt really seem that safe, no ID checked. The room was filthy. None of us took our shoes off when we were in the room, we didnt use any dishes because they werent clean, and the cushions on the bed had a brown smear on them. Very disgusting! The bathroom wasn't clean, walls were really dirty and overall the place is just unkept and awful. We won't ever be returning.

Our unit had no chairs to sit on, only one drinking mug for 2 guests, only one drinking glass for 2 guests, no tea towel, no tissues, no Chux for wiping over benches, the power cord of the microwave was too short to connect to the power point below it, toilet floor was dirty, towel rail broken off the wall, shower rose dropped when in the normal position for showering, no milk supplied for a hot drink of tea or coffee, bed was only 2 mattresses on the floor and too low for elderly people. No staff members were available to help with any of these issues after 5pm

Perfectly adequate. Clean, but many things needed repair or replacement, like a window casing that was broken and not able to be closed, peeling paint, broken toilet roll holder. HOWEVER, for $89 per night it was much as expected. Clean, easy to find, easy to get the key from the lock box, plenty of parking, close to supermarkets and fast food. Occupant of room next door smoking outside our front door meant a lingering smoke smell: not exactly pleasant.

Arrived at 9.30pm. Key left in safe. Code texted earlier. Opened door, turned on entry light. It didn't work, tripped on step up into split level room in the dark. Cold night so switched on the floor heater covered in dust, opened fridge and found ring marks from previous occupants on shelves and it hasn't been defrosted for months. Found a box in bedside drawer. Can see why there's No Free cancellation, just wanted to be close to pick up the hire car and will be staying elsewhere for the rest of our stay in Launceston.

need a complete revamp reno

shower door was so small i could hardly get in there was no soap holder looked like there was one but broke off sometime ago so you had to leave soap on floor of shower hand basin was a disgrace a bottle of Drano would not go astray the mattress was about 40 years old and had springs popping up everywhere everything past its use by date sheets and towels were very clean would not stay again

Definitely wouldn’t recommend. Dirty stained carpet, broken bathroom door, disgusting ancient bathtub, no bowls, uncomfortable beds, no batteries in the tv remote and reception was hardly open. The positive was that my old toddler-ridden house felt like luxury when arriving home.
