Our stay at the Maqai Eco Resort was by far the highlight of our wonderful holiday in Fiji. We were looking for a resort with 'bure' right on the beach and we got exactly that at Maqai. We slept soundly for the first time since arriving in Fiji, the sound of crashing waves working their magic. The staff and owner Angela were immensely welcoming and created an attentive yet laid-back atmosphere. We loved the communal dining/lounge where we got to know the other guests and had a lot of fun playing...
