"Great views and lovely farm house charm. Great location to walk around Laangeban and also lovely to have the woodfired hot tub. Only challenge is there is no food after 8 so if you are arriving late make sure you tell them in advance. "

"We had no problem with our stay. Staff was friendly and helpful. Service and food was excellent. The only drawback was the hotel has a generator, but during loadshedding all the plugs and lights are off. So during the evenings you only have a small light in the room.
If you are an outdoor person, there are lots to do during the day. We will definitely go back if they do an upgrade on their generator."
"Overall the property was what we expected. Ideal for two persons, doing local daytrips. Basic, safe, clean with a small kitchen, equipped for 2 persons. Clean linen and a comfortable double bed. Typical the apartments one would find in Europe.
We did not use the loose blanket on the bed, but it is in need of a wash."
"Alabaster Box certainly is doing something right! Besides the home being immaculately kept, the service is top notch.
Upon entering my room I was met with the most beautiful scent of sandalwood. A small fridge, and kettle were available for my snacks and tea. The shower was absolutely amazing, and much needed after a long car ride!
The balcony even had views of the lagoon. There’s a serene koi pond in the back, and pool as well.
Most of all, I felt safe as a solo female. May God bless this...
