Excellent choice of stay

Beautifully clean guesthouse with good size rooms in a nice location in the old part of the city. The owner is wonderful and very helpful on local knowledge.

Lampang short stay

It was a nice small guest house with a decent size room. Mini fridge, AC, wifi in the room. Location was decent, located in the quieter part of town except Sat & Sun when the night market is going; but it ends at 10:00. Only cons are: reception is not open 24 hours, the electricty shuts off when you leave the room (including the fridge), and they did not take credit cards so I had to find an ATM and pay cash.

Good value for money

Small guesthouse in a fantastic location. The lady who runs it was friendly & kind in regard to our lack of language skills. Big clean room with a fridge, bed not that comfy tbh. Nice to have a small balcony overlooking the street, especially when the night market was on. The breakfast wasn’t for us… no juice, no fruit, instant coffee…but we were happy to just skip it as the price of the room if quite inexpensive.

The only issue I had was, I arrived at 11am to find the place closed and locked. I contacted the [provided] cell phone on Expedia and the Message stated, “The owner has requested a temporary Bar”. Fortunately a kind Neighbour had a different number and contact the Manager. She appears and informed me not to Check-in before 2pm. I returned at 2pm & my room was ready and it great. A view of Walking Street the River. My only complaint is that the Manager entered my Room. Removed the Car Keys and moved my Car without knowing. She showed me where it was when I returned but, this is a good thing to do. Overall I am happy to stay again.

The room was a very pleasant surprise: large, luminous, simply but well appointed, nice view from the balcony. The guest house is very well located whether you want to explore the north or south side of the river. Having the night market right on the street was fun, though everything's packed up by 10pm so it gets quiet again. This is an excellent pick in a incredibly charming town.

We absolutely loved our stay at this quaint and authentic guest house, positioned on the riverside area. The young couple who run this guest house are the most genuine, kind and helpful people, who could not do enough for us. The rooms are quite dark due to the teak, large bathroom which was great. Plenty of storage area in the room. The bed was large and firm. There are fairly steep stairs up to each level, but only about 6 rooms in total, so request the first floor. Generous and tasty breakfasts were included in our room rate. There is a great local laundry directly across from the guest house, songthaews run up and down the road fairly regularly if you need transport. Perfect location for exploring the area on foot and enjoying the markets and cafes. The famous weekend markets run right along the front of the guest house and are so much fun. Lambo offered to drive us on a day trip as our private driver which was fantastic. They very kindly offered to drive us to Chiang Mai when we were leaving, as they needed to visit the city, so we gratefully accepted and contributed to fuel. Lambo and his lovely wife dropped us at our next accommodation and we are so very grateful for their kindness. We would totally recommend this place and can't wait to return.

Central placering

Gæstehuset er meget centralt placeret i forhold til weekend markedet samt gadekunsten på murene. Begge dele lige udenfor døren. Boede i værelse nummer 4 som er placeret på øverste etage. Værelset er placeret væk fra gaden så ingen støj fra gaden. Værelset har ikke en balkon men der er balkon lige udenfor døren. Lidt mørkt værelse, men bed eventuelt om en ekstra lampe (gjorde vi). Værelset har flere trin så man skal passe lidt på når man går rundt. Mulighed for både continental morgenmad og asiatisk morgenmad. Den asiatiske morgenmad er virkelig god. Værtsparret er meget venlige og hjælpsomme. Kørte os til busstationen efter endt ophold, og vi fik en ekstra lampe da vi bad om det til værelset. Forbedringsmuligheder: På taget over værelset kunne Gæstehuset lave en fin altan, på en del af taget. Resten af taget bruger personalet og kunne adskilles med en lille mur. Så kunne man med nogle stole, borde og måskeplanter/blomster kunne lave et opholdssted for gæsterne på værelserne med fin udsigt over broen, og templer i det fjerne. Der er allerede opsat et tag og nogle stole, så i dag kan man allerede sidde i skygge. Wifi virker tilfredsstillende. Bor her gerne igen. Også i samme værelse.

Nettes kleines Guesthouse in guter Lage in Lampang, noch recht neu. Liebevolle hilfsbereite Besitzer, die uns sogar zum Busbahnhof gefahren und morgens ein leckeres Frühstück zubereitet haben. WLAN funktionierte gut, Betten sind ziemlich hart, Bad war sehr sauber, Warmwasser funktionierte prima. Man hörte zwar im Zimmer recht viel von unten (Straße, Gespräche), aber nachts war es ruhig. Guter Ausgangspunkt, um die Altstadt von Lampang zu erkunden - Art Street, Clocktower, Markt, Tempel, etc. Tipp: Restaurant "Aroy one Baht" - lebhaft, preiswert und tolle Atmosphäre.
