A hidden gem in the heart of laqlouq

Staying at Laqlouq 1808 was an absolute delight. From the moment we arrived, the peaceful mountain air and stunning views wrapped around us like a cozy blanket. Wonderful Family Stay at Laqlook1808! We had an unforgettable stay at Laqlook1808 with our two kids. The setting at 1800m is peaceful and stunning, perfect for a mountain escape. What truly made it special were the incredible hosts, Samer and Shahnaz — warm, welcoming, and full of heart. The rooms were spotless and cosy, and the homemade Lebanese breakfast was absolutely amazing — fresh, generous, and full of flavour. Our kids loved exploring the nature around, and we felt so well taken care of. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, charm, and genuine Lebanese hospitality!

We flew in from New York City in mid-August during a heat wave. If you are looking to escape the oppressive heat of summer and spend some time in a beautiful mountain setting with crisp fresh air with stunning views, you will enjoy your stay here. This large guest house is owned by a lovely family who was on site for our entire stay and very attentive to our needs. The staff, Mr. Mohamed, was a star and ensured we were taken care of our entire stay. They would not allow us to lift a finger, or even enter the kitchen for ourselves. We stayed up late, wrapped up in blankets, to enjoy the fresh mountain air and stars. Breakfast was a delicious and perfectly served outside with the gorgeous view. Don’t forget to explore the home with art and history in every corner, and check out the on campus soap shop!

A Truly Memorable Stay at Hotel Laklouk 1808 Our stay at Hotel Laklouk 1808 was nothing short of magical. Surrounded by breathtaking mountain views and a serene landscape, the setting alone made it feel like a hidden gem. The interior of the hotel is beautifully designed—elegant, warm, and full of character, with every detail thoughtfully curated to reflect its unique charm. Hospitality here is on another level. Samer and Chahinaz were incredible hosts, going above and beyond to make us feel welcome and even showing us around the area. Their kindness and personal touch made the experience all the more special. Breakfast was a highlight—fresh, delicious, and served with care. We also loved the boutique on-site, where they sell handmade organic soaps and creams. Each product felt like a little piece of Laklouk we could take home with us. A truly relaxing and enriching getaway—can’t wait to return!

Little piece of heaven in the clouds

Our stay at Laqlouk 1808 was the highlight of our trip. Where to start ? The comfort, the attention to detail, the distinguished decor and the manicured grounds welcomed us. Although we didn’t get the chance to meet the owners, Mohamed did his absolute best to make us feel at home. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. No expense was speared and we will for sure come back again and spread the word !

First of all, I would like to thank Samer and Shahinaz from the bottom of my heart, they make you feel like a member of their family. I have never seen such hosts . The house is wonderful, clean, large, comfortable, everything is available. I recommend it to everyone who wants to spend a few unforgettable days in Laklouk. I have never had such a beautiful holiday, not even in the largest hotel.

Lovely cosy stay

Our overnight stay was sweet and low key at Laklouk. We had spent the day exploring Bsharri and then drove to Laklouk to stay overnight. The stay is very cosy and personal as the owners of the house are there. The house has 4 rooms so there aren't many guests. Lovely outdoor areas to relax and have breakfast, or enjoy the amazing sunset view. The next day we had a 1 hour ATV tour, which was a great way to see the surrounds and highly recommend. The owners and Mohammed are very happy to help facilitate any bookings, everyone is very nice and checking on you regularly if you need anything. Do recommend!

A fantastic stay in Laklouk 1808 !

A warm and friendly welcome by Shahnaz and Samer, making you immediately feel at home. The place is finely decorated, every piece of furniture having its own story. The rooms are of top quality and extremely comfortable. The garden is charming, where you can enjoy your n the evening a delicious cheese and wine, and in the morning an incredible breakfast with a breathtaking view. Samer and Shahnaz can guide you in the multitude activities available in the region and the best site to visit. Our stay couldn’t have been so enjoyable without the discreet and so efficient assistance of Mohamad. We hope to come back very soon.

We are visiting from New York to Dubai, and jumped to lebanon for a few days and stayed at 1808 Laklouk for two nights. IT WAS AMAZING! 1- The friendliness and warmth is real and honest and impossible to miss. You get everything that 6 star hotels try to create: personal, special attention and genuine humanity. 2- The place is GORGEOUS. The house is a piece of art, the landscaping is impeccable, the mountains and the apple trees next door and nature and small villages are breathtaking. 3- The care and cleanliness is and maintenance is top notch. We even added a child late and didn't look at the rules, but they were so kind and accommodating and we were so touched. Right now, it's impossible for me to remember a better place to stay. PS: we came out of season (October) and it is starting to get a bit cold. Not freezing or anything, but it's definitely Autumn.
