"It was pouring with rain when we arrived, so we really appreciated having the carport and entry cover, so we didn’t get soaked hauling our luggage in. Great for a 1nt stay on our way from Wellington to the Coromandel. Because of the weather the Coromandel didn’t happen, but that’s a whole other story! "

"I can not rate this motel high enough, great hosts, impeccably clean and well thought out rooms. Amazing views, bikes, 3 pools and the list goes on. I give this 10:10. It’s a 15 min walk to town but so much around it so it was the perfect location for us to appreciate the lakes. "

"I was surprised to actually see the size of our apartment. It was spacious. And well decorated. More surprising was the fact that Sacred Waters is on the lake edge side. I did not know beforehand that there can be hotels/apartments on that side too. When we went out of our apartment and walked directly on to the lake front walking track, we were so thrilled and happy. Outstanding."

"We had a fabulous three nights at Clearwater. We loved being right beside the lake and had a beautiful panoramic view from our unit. The setting was very restful - just what we needed. The Clearwater staff were very friendly and helpful, the bed was comfortable, and the shower and in-room spa were great. (Fantastic pressure in the shower!) The motor lodge is only a quick drive (or a nice walk) into town for coffee, shopping, activities and takeaway meals, and we also went down to Rainbow Point...
