"The hotel was well located and very walkable - close to the train/bus station and the tourist attractions. Rooms were large, lovely and quiet. Our king bed was comfortable. The room temperature control was very good. The pool area is very nice. The breakfast buffet is excellent. Nice food selection with made to order eggs and nice variety of hot/cold items. My only (very minor) complaint is that the lighting could be brighter in the bathroom - bit dark for putting on makeup."
"Excellent location, perfect for us. Breakfast was very good, the bar staff were great and reception were good every time we needed them. The rooms were excellent. They were spacious and well appointed. We'd definitely use the hotel again if we go back."
"The staff was helpful. It was a relief that the person at reception could help us get a cab since we had trouble communicating. It was a clean room with a nice breakfast. And a fabulous view!
It's a bit difficult getting around in Zacopane. A lot of traffic and the buses were difficult. Not pleasant to walk next to the road. That being said done sort of shuttle bus would be convenient. Shuttle to the pedestrian street, shuttle to the funicular and shuttle to the bus/train station.
Alternatively, a little cafe or store in the hotel could be helpful. Also maybe some tourist ingo in English."
"Great Location! The hotel is located walking distance from the train station. When you get off the train, it's a short walk straight up the hill. You will need to know this because the locals will probably not want to help you with directions. The lady that greeted us at the front desk was very friendly and helpful! She was accommodating and nice. The pool and hot tub were wonderful after a day of hiking. The lady working the spa was unfriendly, but that's to be expected from many of the locals. The rooms were nice but very dated. If you go when the weather is cooler, you will be fine, but it is good to know for the warmer months, there is no air condition in the rooms. If you sleep with the window opened, there are cars and street noise. They did bring us a fan, but when the temperature rises to the 80s... you may want a room with AC. The shower was tiny. My husband took a shower in the locker room at the pool and it had plenty of room. It's a wonderful place to stay, just be aware of the AC situation. Also, The Brooklyn Brewery next door is an excellent place to eat! The food is wonderful and you get huge portions. The staff was also friendly."
