"The property is in very good condition. Excellent amenities for the price. Avoid the rooms overlooking the reception are bit otherwise it’s excellent for the price. "
"We stayed at this Hotel for UW graduation weekend. This hotel was 20+ mins away from the University. It’s also very near Madison’s Landfill tho there was no garbage smell.
Hotel jacked up the prices for this weekend. We were charged over $400 a night and it wasn’t worth that at all. They claimed at check-in we had already paid (we hadn’t) and then at checkout I had to fight to get the rooms on the credit card of my choice.
Breakfasts were ok. We stayed for 2 days. First day, room internet was terrible. We told the staff on two separate occasions this. They did manage to fix it the second time.
Overall, an okay hotel but location wasn’t great and it wasn’t worth the money they wanted for graduation weekend."
"This hotel by any means would be rated less than one star. I was astonished by the fact that Hotels.com would even have such a hotel as this one as a possible place to spend the night the room did not have a coffee pot, a refrigerator, a microwave a hairdryer, or the little extras such as shampoo, hair, conditioner, lotion, or wash rags the hotel advertised free Wi-Fi, but did not have Internet. It advertised the many cable channels it had but not the more popular ones. It advertised free coffee, but it did not matter what time you went into that little alcove there was never any coffee. There was a family staying right above us and you could hear every word and feel the rumble of every jump or the kids running around. You could also hear the TV on in the room next to you. The room also had bugs in the shower in the sink, crawling on the floor and a roach crawling around on the walls. The sink had a leak and all they did was wrap a towel around it."
"We booked a room for three guests that was supposed to be a queen sized bed in the room. The bed was a full size bed and nowhere for a third person to sleep. We were "upgraded" to a different room with two beds, but the beds were both single sized beds. The rooms were very dirty and dingy. The main hallway had a terrible, offensive smell for hours. All the furniture was dusty and falling apart. Floors were dirty. Bathtubs had hair. No hand soap. In the second room the air conditioner was being held together with duct tape. The pool was not swimmable. The staff was very unhelpful. It was the worst hotel I've ever stayed at."
