"If you make sure to get a newly renovated room, all is good. If you don’t, it’s a completely different stay. The rooms that are not renovated are dingy older and need a deep cleaning. Shower is small, etc. If you get a newly renovated room it’s completely opposite. Air-conditioning is fabulous. Beds are comfortable pillows are wonderful, etc.
The breakfast was absolutely delicious, and the pool and pool chairs were fabulous.
The concierge staff need to get a little more training. They were unable to really answer questions about the area, the restaurants things to do, etc. They were young locals who really didn’t seem very trained. For example, when I asked if they could make a reservation for dinner the concierge said “you want ME to call?“ That was a little surprising. She was very sweet, but they need training on what a concierge’s role is in a nice hotel."
