It’s definitely close to the casino with a lot of food options very close. They even offer a shuttle. Our only problem was the road noise outside our window (loud cars and racing) which the hotel had no control over.

I was pleasantly surprised when I walked in! Staff was very friendly and I noticed treats for doggie clients and cookies for us humans! The room was roomy, clean and comfortable! The full breakfast was delicious! The lobby was welcoming! There was even a complimentary shuttle available on the weekends! I will put this one on my list for great places to stay in Lake Charles!

Immediately when I walked into the room, there was a musty smell— like mildew. The carpet felt slightly wet. The lampshade was cracked. The closest smelled like mildew. There was residue on the smaller desk and nightstand lamps. Breakfast was decent.

Bathroom was not clean. Tub/shower fixtures were loose from the wall and covered in soap scum. Breakfast was terrible. Biscuits were hard, ran out of food, waffle mix, coffee and utensils. Overall experience was absolutely terrible. Would not recommend staying here and we will not stay here again!

This hotel is very close to casinos and convenient travelers to stop and relax. Very clean and nice staff. Breakfast was good and yummy and had lots of options. Would stay here again if I need a place to rest and relax.

I booked an accessible room with a walk-in shower two months prior to arrival. Before arrival I called several times to confirm and ensure that we would indeed have a room with a walk-in shower. I was assured that the booking was exactly as I wanted. On the arrival date I found out that the “accessible” room did not in fact have a walk-in shower and the only room on the property which did was unavailable. The manager then offered me one free night for the inconvenience. Throughout my stay I checked to see how I would be receiving the credit for the one night and I was assured that it would show up on my credit card. The credit has not been added to my credit card and now I cannot get ahold of the manager to resolve the situation. Extremely disappointing and I will never stay at that property again. I would give zero stars except for the property was clean and the free breakfast was decent.

Check-in was a breeze. Ebony was very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and the bed was surprisingly comfortable, a lot more comfortable than Golden Nugget’s bed. Breakfast was ok, your typical hotel breakfast (but at least they offered it). Took the shuttle over to L’Auberge. Very convenient and when you are ready to go back to your room just call the phone number provided. Will definitely go back again. Only complaint was the grounds around the hotel could have been neater!
