"Lovely, relaxing atmosphere with great pool area and beautiful sea views. Friendly staff. Very good breakfast. Dinner menu a bit limited esp. for younger children and on the ‘fancy’ end of the spectrum (and some dishes were rather style over substance). Can eat out or get takeaway pizza in the next village. "Everything was perfect at La Chaize. This was our third time and the reception still took time to explain about access, breakfast and all that we needed to know to get the best from the hotel. The Gentleman on reception took us to our room, which was at the rear of the main hotel building. He explained the features of the room such as the jacuzzi, electric velux window, etc. The room (41) was immaculate and well decorated. The hotel has an indoor swimming pool and sauna. Breakfast is charged...

"I have stayed here before and was always quite satisfied, this time not so much. I had to change rooms because the first one had the heating turned on and it was very hot in there. The Concierge first didn't believe me, then gave me a room that was definitely not worth what I had payed, rather cramped, dull colours and the light in the hall didn't work. The hotel is otherwise quite nice. I hope it will be better again next time!"

"The man at the reception desk is very cold. No emphaty at all. No information about the time of the breakfast, restaurant etc. In the room there's a QR code to know about the offered services....it does not work. In short I'll find another hotel next time."
