Despite it being offered for every room - Mountain View’s are really not available from any bedroom- however this does not detract from the Hotel’s excellent location nor its simple but adequate rooms. The breakfast although extra was well worth it. It is a budget hotel so the rooms were without frills but the shower water was instantly hot and always available, the bed was comfortable and the room was peaceful. The staff were very helpful and everywhere was clean and tidy. La Bourboule was a lovely town with much to see and many good walks - with the purchase of a local map €10 from the Tourist Office the whole Monte Dore, Puy de Sancy area and its walking is available on the many marked paths accessible from the Hotels Front door.
