"It was my first time checking into a hotel without staff on site. The hotel will send you an email with an entry code to get into the lobby. Once inside, there's a tablet you use to check in. After you snap a photo of your passport, you get connected to the hotel staff via video call to verify your identity. Then you will get your room code on the screen. Take a picture of your room code with your phone. The hotel is very roomy and very close to the station. "

Top Kyodomari Hotel Reviews

Ooedo Onsen Monogatari Hotel Ranpu

8/10 Good

"Hotel is dated but well maintained. They have a small arcade and play area for kids to enjoy. Staffs were very friendly and accomodating. View of beach in our room is so relaxing. Their buffet is the best if you like seafood and they serve steaks too. Highly recommended and we'll definitely coming back!"

HOTEL R9 The Yard Karatsu

10/10 Excellent

"I was a little wary staying at a shipping container hotel, but I was blown away by this place. Really everything was perfect about it. The room was spotless and had all the amenities you could need. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and were prepared to deal with a language barrier. It even has laundry and free light meals that were quite good! And all for a great price. Next time I'm in Karatsu this will he my go-to."
