Helpful staff, sorted us out with a ride to the ferry terminal when our arranged lift didn’t turn up, good food nearby (the Chinese restaurant behind the hotel), air conditioning was good and the bed was comfortable. Perfect for one night on the way to Banggi Island.

Hotel for an overnight stay

Our party of 5 adults wanted a hotel with clean beds for an overnight stay after a full day outing at the Tip of Borneo... and we got that, no more, no less. It is a local style hotel with no frills with free wifi. This met our requirements. A few pointers to note, there is a loud karaoke bar nearby that can be noisy up till midnight. The counter staff said the hotel had run out of toilet tissue when he handed us a half-used roll. The tap for the wash basin in one room was loose and needs fixing. the air conditioning unit in one room did not operate well and need to be maintained. If you are prepared to put up with the above minor inconveniences, it is fine.

Not even my last choice

Not worth it!!, the room is overpriced.. The condition of the room is poor, luckily the aircond inside the room working just fine. The provided towel also worse ever, come with very thin fabric and smelly.
