The Djambo is a great little boutique apartment complex. We were thoroughly impressed with the quaintness, the ambiance, the cleanliness, and the management. Cris and Cin were absolutely fantastic, and because of them we will definitely return. Thanks for the hospitality Cris and Cin!

Really great apartments. Own kitchen area lets you cook your own foods. Cin and cris male sure you have the most wonderful stay here. There is the occasional get together at the bar(not mandatory) for pizza or bbq which is great for socializing with your fellow travellers. Well thought out apartments. Great for divers with specific area for diving gear and cleaning. Even for checkout day, everything is planned and kept in mind, like storage area and a place to take a shower. Its a 10/10 for us

Excellent place to stay for both location and comfort. Very well maintained property efficiently run by the on-site owners. Very safe and quiet. The good sized pool, landscaping and attracted songbird population helps create a lovely oasis type feel. Short walk to shopping and multitude of good restaurants. Will have no hesitation in returning to Djambo on our next visit.

Amazing Apartments!! Highly Recommend!! Perfect!!

This place is amazing! So relaxing, HIGHLY RECOMMEND! So clean! It is perfect - beautiful deck with sliding doors that houses a kitchen, full-sized fridge, gas range, every dish you could need, a table to eat at, loungers to chill on and a view of the pool where beautiful lights come on at night. The bed is super comfortable, the shower has hot water and the sheets/blankets are soft and clean. The towel service is a huge bonus because usually when I travel I have to end up buying towels. The owners are available to help and are quick to respond. They are communicative - the power went out, for less than an hour, and the first thing they did was tell everyone, then reset the wifi when it came back on. In my experience owners will pretend the wifi works when it doesn't, having one question their sanity. It is very quiet and everyone is very respectful of one another. No one blaring music, drunk, partying or generally being annoying. Seems we all like to lay around the pool and read peacefully. The other guests were very friendly as well. My only suggestion (not for Djambo but for future guests) is to rent a car. It is possible to walk most places within the area - the promenade, te amo beach, restaurants bachelors beach and grocery stores However people drive really fast here (or comically slow, its very odd) and there aren't a lot of sidewalks. I saw a tourist get hit by a car off off their bike - so stay all the way to the side. Use a light at night. I will be back! Love it

Very relaxing stay

It helps that this property is adults only 16+. All the guests were very respectful of others, no screaming teenagers in the pool. Property managers Cindy and Christina were very helpful, responsive to all our queries. We have been to Bonaire many times but this is the place we will come back to.

A true hidden jem. The Djambo is an "adults only" vacation get away that consists of 17 apartments surrounding the perfectly maintained grounds and nice sized pool. Each apartment is set-up with a 3 piece bathroom, a bedroom, a walk-in closet and A/C plus a kitchen/ sitting area that opens to the garden. Cris and Cin manage and maintain the property in amazing condition and are a blessing to deal with. We loved our "all too short" stay there, but we're sure to return every time we go back to Bonaire. Minutes from both the airport and the city of Kralendijk. So happy we found this place.

Wonderful hosts, peaceful environment, really well laid out. 15 min walk to the main drag which was fine by me. Small little bar by the pool with cold beers, hours narrow, but hits the spot when needed. Overall an exceptional place to stay while exploring Bonaire!

Great location, built to be secluded, like a gated community. We enjoyed the pool and outdoor kitchen very handy, you have all you need if you want to stay in or go out. Staff very friendly and people around. Good for short and longer stays.

Fantastische goede service. Persoonlijk, attent, gestroomlijnd. Alles is tot in de puntjes geregeld en georganiseerd. Geheel duidelijk wat je kunt verwachten. Kleinschalig appartementencomplex, handig gelegen in Kralendijk. Geboden faciliteiten zeer goed (koffiezetter, koelkast, broodrooster, ventilator, zelfs een bbq). Heerlijk zwembad en zonneweide. Adult only concept is echt geweldig; de rust die er heerst is heerlijk. Zeer grote aanrader en waarschijnlijk komen we er weer terug. Kleine tip: een badhandoekenservice (voor buiten de accomodatie) zou een grote toevoeging zijn. Met alleen handbagage reizen maakt dit makkelijker. Beddengoed zouden we persoonlijk in 1 en dezelfde stijl doen. Liefst in hotelstijl (wit).

The Djambo is perfect in so many ways. Perfect location- close to many walkable areas including downtown, restaurants and markets, perfect pool which was never crowded and always refreshing and perfect hosts who were helpful with every request! Echt helemaal top! Bedden slapen heerlijk, keuken is erg functioneel en het zwembad schoon en lekker groot. Veel mogelijkheden om zowel in de zon als uit de zon of in de schaduw te zitten.

Relaxed, small and central location

The owners are nice and very helpful. The pool is small, but most of the time big enough for the guests. The airport is around a 5-10 minutes drive and center is within walking distance (15min). There is parking space available and the rooms are spacious with an airco. For divers there are also amenities.

Prima woning op een prima kleinschalig verblijf.

De woning is echt ruim genoeg voor twee personen en je leeft de hele dag buiten de buiten keuken is erg leuk. Als ik denk aan een strand ...dan heb ik een andere voorstelling. Kleine plekjes met kiezel en rotsen in de nabijheid.....voor een beetje strand heb je echt een auto nodig.

Prachtige centraal gelegen accommodatie

In april 2018 twee weken verbleven bij Djambo. Een prachtig opgezet appartementen (17 stuks) complex(je) waar over alles is nagedacht. Kleinschalig genoeg om het gezellig en knus te houden, maar ook groot genoeg waardoor je niet het gevoel krijgt dat je bij de eigenaren thuis logeert. De eigenaren zijn dagelijks aanwezig, hebben gepaste aandacht voor hun gasten en kunnen op verzoek alles (huurauto, excursies) voor je regelen. Zeer gezellig om dagelijks even te borrelen aan de Djambo Bar. De appartementen zijn voorzien van een open "woonkamer" met buitenkeuken waardoor je het buitenleven ervaart zodra je de nette en ruime slaapkamer uit komt. De appartement zijn zeer netjes even van alle gemakken voorzien! Zowel de appartementen op de begane grond (direct aan het zwembad) als op de 1e verdieping (altijd een heerlijk koel briesje en uitzicht) zijn aan te raden. De tuin, het zwembad en het gehele complex is keurig verzorgt. Op Bonaire is een zeer royaal aanbod van leuke accommodaties, maar voor ons staat Djambo op nr. !

Comfortabel apartement vlakbij Kralendijk.

Djambo bevind zich op loopafstand van het centrum en klein strandje. Dit comfortabel appartement beschikt ook over een riante zwembad, en poolbar. Zeer vriendelijke gastvrouwen/heren die je verblijf nog aangenaam maken. Ook pefecte ligging vlakbij de airport. Een echte "home-away-from-home".
