"This was by far the most unique, amazing hotel we stayed at on the island of Crete. Upon arrival we were given fresh-squeezed lemonade made from their own lemon trees. The staff was so friendly! The building is over 500 years old, and nothing like I've ever seen before. "A noisy out dated hotel, which is connected to the Porto hotel next door. Good location & a decent varied breakfast, but take your own tea bags if you want an English cuppa, as they only have flavoured teas. A kettle would have been useful in the room too. The bed was comfortable although very creeky. You can hear everything outside & in the rooms next door. There were weird pumping noises from somewhere within the premises at midnight & early in the morning, plus a man talking loudly outside in their grounds at 5.30am. Didn’t make for a pleasant stay. Would not stay there sgain."
