Great location and helpful staff. A bit noisy on Friday and Saturday night due to the night market.

Enjoyed the location
Very nice room, comfortable beds & good air con. However the shower was not good.
24hr reception, very helpful staff.
Plenty of places to eat nearby & good location to reach Jesselton pier on foot.
Just be aware that the Gaya night food market is on both Friday and Saturday, if you have an early start next day it is noisy! If you don't, it's fun!

Footpath in front of hotel is construction site
Mediocre - not as portrayed in photos, small rooms, dark and rustic showers. Clean with good towels however.
Awesome location to enjoy the Saturday & Sunday Gaya Market. Comfortable with basic facilities. Highly recommend if you're planning to explore the nearby area.

It's perfect for a short business trip, maybe a short 3 day stay. This is definitely not for anything longer if you like comfy hotels.
A cheap satisfactory stay but room for improvement
Stayed for 5 nights and it was fine for what we paid but the shower didn’t have much power (especially if the cistern was still filling or a tap was running) the shower cubicle leaked and the bed sheets were a bit grey & stained (felt & smelled ok but need replacing really.)
The lift needs some maintenance as it makes a terrible noise which is pretty annoying and disturbing especially at night.
The back door was open and unlocked with no security cameras whilst we were staying there. This meant that anyone could walk in off that back street & be straight up to the rooms without being noticed. Needs to be kept locked for security.
Our stay was fine but not sure we’d go back tbh.
Clean and spacious enough. Its nearby to all amenities. Do note that its not suitable for travellers who drives as its not easy to get a parking space as its a business area. Walking distance to all tourist spots and easy to get Grab for longer journeys. I
The room size was just nice for the price I paid. Good sized bathroom as well as excellent water pressure. Only downside was a very unsupportive pillow. A firmer one would have been perfect
Great location. Road is closed off for night market on Friday and Saturday, not many foods trucks or stalls to warrant the length of street for the weekly closure. Noise was a bit of a problem at night with the buskers even after reading the reviews before booking. We heeded the warning to choose a room in the back which had no windows and cheaper than a room with a window facing Gaya Street and less noisy comparatively. Music is gone by 11pm. Can’t hear the noise from Sunday morning Gaya market every week where you literally step into it from the hotel entrance. Staff are friendly. Small room. Not enough room for luggage. Still needed to walk around luggage when we finally figured out the most strategic way to place them. Most times after housekeeping there would be something missing so we’d have to call for it. Bathroom shower water was leaking out of the stall so the mat was always wet before we got out of the shower. Cheap quality toilet paper was used. Water, coffee and tea were provided. They didn’t ask if we wanted water when we didn’t housekeep. This hotel only has 18 rooms in it. You’d think they’d have more concern for their guests. Bedsheets had some yellow stains. Towels were worn with the hotel name labelled in permanent marker. Needed to keep going to the reception to have our room card refreshed. In general, convenient location right downtown, friendly staff, get what you pay for budget 2.5*
