Great Breakfast, But Rooms Need an Update
I recently stayed at The Westin Jakarta, and while my overall experience was positive, there were a few aspects that stood out for different reasons.
Let me start with the highlight of my stay—the breakfast buffet. It was absolutely fantastic! There was an incredible variety of dishes, and I was thrilled to find a South Indian food selection as well. "Meet the hotel manager in the lobby and he was so friendly and helpful. I had a business associate traveling with me he was 100% strict Veg; we are doing lunch in the restaurant and the manager had the chief come to our table to make a special meal. What service...."

otherwise you need to walk or catch a taxi to a big shopping mall.
There was no washing machine in the room.

"I have been staying her for years. Always feel like i am coming home. Haven't been there as often because of COVID in the last few years, but when i came back the staff which were still there gave me a warm welcome. The location is convenient for meetings in the Kuningan area, and the food is good, although the menu is limited. But the rooftop restaurant is wonderful. Highly recommended. "
"Grundsätzlich gut gelegen. Denn mit dem Taxi kommt man für keine Fr. 10.-- überall hin. Das Hotel selbst ist sehr gut! Es hat wohl kein eigenes Restaurant, doch hat es gleich daneben einen McDonalds, 700 Meter weiter einen Pizza Hut - und indonesisches Essen gibts an jeder Ecke. Das Personal im Hotel ist überaus freundlich - aber nicht aufdringlich. Sie versuchen jeden Wunsch zu erfüllen. Ich empfehle es."
