"Very convenient location and affordable price. Staff was friendly and helpful but understaffed. Some aspects did not function to expectations. TV stopped working; shower door didn’t fit properly flooding the bathroom."
"The hotel was fine, but the over priced breakfast was the worst we had at any of the hotels we have stayed at over the last 9 weeks travelling around the world. Don’t bother, just go out to a nice cafe."
"This property is in a really good location. Very close proximity to many places to eat (especially Asian restaurants and snacks). You also will have many public transport options around you (tram, train stations and bus).
If you are a light sleeper, however, I recommend bringing some ear plugs with you. As this property is quite central, you can hear cars late at night from time to time.
Overall the experience was pleasant. Would stay here again for my next Sydney trip."
"We really liked the location of Hyde Park Inn. It is very convenient, with train and bus stops just a few minutes’ walk away. However, the hotel itself falls short of expectations and deserves no more than a 3-star rating. The furniture is outdated and looks worn and unclean. Amenities are very limited, and the complimentary light breakfast is extremely basic, with very few options. Overall, the location is good."
"This hotel is so old, tired and worn. The room we stayed in only had a window into a pigeon nest area. Bed was up against wall on one side and only one pillow each. Spare pillow in wardrobe had no cover and blood stained! Avoid this pit at all costs. So many other choices nearby. Never ever again!!"
"This property was exceptional, big beautiful apartments. Very clean, great views. We used the pool and the spa as well, nice to cool down after a warm day in Sydney. The staff were al so lovely too."
"The Kimpton is a class act operation in a wonderful location. We were pleased with the amenities and friendly staff. The room was outstanding in terms of cleanliness and comfort."
