Most significant complaint was the telephone and Internet service were down. During check-out, we were forced to pay by cash as their credit card machines were also not working. This is a significant issue. Very unpleasant situation to surprise guests by making them pay the full bill in cash without prior notice. Their systems were down at least 2 days.

Das Hotel besticht durch seine ruhige Lage und sehr geschmackvolle Ausstattung. Sehr freundliches und aufmerksames Personal. Die Therme und das Strandbad liegen in unmittelbarer Nähe. Wenn ein Hotel in Konstanz, dann ist für uns Waldhaus Jakob die erste Wahl. Ein Hotel zum Wohlfühlen!!

Tolles Hotel

Außerhalb von Konstanz, aber mit sehr schöner Seelage gelegenes Hotel. Wir hatten für eine Übernachtung ein Standardzimmer gebucht, das sehr geräumig und sehr schön war. Man kann sehr gut am See entlang nach Konstanz gehen, aber es fährt auch ein Bus. Das Frühstück fanden wir für den Preis nicht ganz so gut und es gab nur ein sehr eingeschränktes Parkplatzangebot auf dem Gelände und wir mussten auf einen öffentlichen Parkplatz am Schwimmbad ausweichen. Toll: der dazugehörige Biergarten. Hier kann man den Tag mit Blick auf den See ausklingen lassen.

Das Zimmer war sehr ruhig und hatte einen wunderschönen Ausblick auf den See. Der reinste Kurlaub. Beim Frühstück könnte einiges Plastikverpackte ersetzt werden.

Die Bushaltestelle direkt vor der Tür war das I-Tüpelchen bei unserem perfektem Wochenende.Mit dem Bus ging es kostenlos in die Stadt zum Weihnachtsmarkt und wieder zurück....kein Stress mit der teuren Parkplatzsuche und ein paar Glühwein waren somit auch drin..

Super freundliches Hotel mit kostenlosem Parkplatz, liegt sehr ruhig bei der Bodensee-Therme. Daher etwas weg vom Trubel der Innenstadt, aber mit dem Linienbus (Haltestelle direkt vor der Haustüre) perfekte Anbindung ins Zentrum von Konstanz. Wir haben ein kostenloses Zimmer-Upgrade bekommen (Dankeschön :-)) Wir kommen bestimmt wieder!

Schöne Unterkunft im Grünen mit Sicht auf den See

Wir waren sehr zufrieden. Schön, dass man das Auto stehen lassen kann und mit dem Bus nach Konstanz fahren. Von hier gibt es eine Busanbindung in die Schweiz. Nur das Frühstück war früher besser. Vor allem das Rührei war kompakt und trocken, nicht so wie es z.B. normal üblich ist. Allerdings war der Cappuccino sehr fein. Wir hatten ein wunderbares Zimmer, das wir bestimmt wieder buchen werden.

Lovely location, beer garden, lake views

A lovely hotel in a great location, and depending upon your view right next to a lovely little beer garden. Meant it was each to relax, grab some good food and a few drinks without wandering too far. Of course, if you want quiet, then probably when booking ask for a room the other side of the hotel. Mosquitos at sunset are a bit of a pain, but you will get that anywhere near the lake! So have spray if you want to sit out all evening. Staff friendly, lovely hotel, my room was a little tired, but fine for what I needed. I would consider staying here again.

Sehr schöne gut gelegene Anlage. Unser Zimmer war etwas antiquiert mit einen roten älteren Teppich.Jedoch geräumig. Bad war sauber, jedoch war die Dusche in die Ecke gequetscht und der Einstieg abenteuerlich. Nichts für größere Menschen. Der Service war exzellent. Und das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr gut.

Hotel in sehr schöner ruhigen Lage

Das Hotel liegt sehr schön. Man kann zu Fuß zum See und gleichzeitig ist der Wald drumherum. Die Zimmer sind ok. Sauber war es bisher immer. Die Empfangsmitarbeiter haben ihren Leitfaden verinnerlicht. Standardmäßig werden hier die üblichen Begrüßungsfloskeln vorgetragen (so langweilig). Es ist zwar weniger authentisch aber immerhin Standard. Mein Zimmer war das erste mal in der Nähe vom Biergarten. Man hörte das schon ganz schön. Ich hatte Glück und es war kaum was los, sodass ich gut einschlief. Vor 2 Jahren hatte ich noch gefrühstückt. Seit der Expansion ist das Frühstück deutlich teurer und habe es deshalb weggelassen. Schade das man nicht einfach ein Brot und einen Kaffee bekommt. Ich esse nicht mehr morgens. Daher kaufte ich mir das dann beim Bäcker in der Nähe. Ich würde trotzdem wieder buchen. Es liegt einfach gut. Mit dem Frühstück habe ich mich trotzdem schon ein bisschen geärgert.

schöne Lage im Grünen Nähe zum Bodensee und Schwimmbereichen Restaurant und Biergarten sehr gut. So wird ermöglicht, noch bis zum späten Abend an der Unterkunft versorgt zu werden. Kostenlose Parkplätze sehr gut für Fahrradausflüge WLan im Altbau schlecht

Skønt belligende hotel med fantastiske udendørs arealer :-). Det værelse vi fik tildelt var dog meget lille til 2 voksne og 2 hunde :-( Tror ikke "Stamhaus" er egnet til familier med hunde.

Gute Reaktion auf Fehler

Das Hotel liegt an einer wunderbaren Lage, Blick auf/über den See, Bademöglichkeiten in Fussdistanz. Restaurant/Biergarten mit guter Karte gleich neben an. Kritsich ist die Parkplatzsituation - nicht genügend Parkplätze. Da ich mit meinem Sohn reiste, haben wir im Vorfeld nach einem Zimmer mit zwei separaten Betten gefragt,was uns per Mail bestätigt wurde. Leider war das dann beim EInchecken nicht der Fall und ein Zimmerwechsel nicht möglich, da das Hotel ausgebucht war. Wir konnten dann aber für die zweite Nacht das Zimmer wechseln und erhielten eines (mit zwei Betten) in einer besseren Kategorie. Fehler können passieren und sind für den Betroffenen unerfreulich - wichtig ist, wie darauf reagiert wird. Und diese Reaktion war gut!
