Upon check in bed linen was soiled requested clean bed linen after 3 attempts finally non stained sheets supplied. I booked this hotel for use of pool & gym, pool filthy & could not swing a cat in the gym. Ordered room service chicken curry 4 small pieces of ckicken on the bone but no chicken only bone!!! Only ate my complimentary breakfast each morning which was goodall other meals were eaten off site.

located in a good place

the hotel was a big disappointment.the room was dirty the bathroom dirtier. we had a late check in and to have a room so bad was terrible instead of sleeping soon we had to change the room. the bed sheets were torn and with stains the bathroom was never cleaned after their guest left. would never stay with them in future.

terrible is the right word. No ice in the hotel and when it was brought to the front office manager (a lady) she just nodded the had and informed that she will check with the staff as their shift has ended. The room was not cleaned for a day and excuse given was that no disturb sign was on.

Pathetic Room Service and Casual Staff Attitude

This hotel should be embarrassed to call itself a luxury hotel. The staff brought warm water for our baby after 3 hours and 5 repeat calls even when we told them that it was urgent. When i asked for the Wifi password, the lady at the front desk kept repeating that she will call me in 5 minutes with the password. I kept trying every half an hour when she did not call back. Finally there was no password and no free internet access as promised by the hotel. Similarly for room service they said they will call back in 5 mins and never did. They overcharge for everything and it was an overall bad experience. Never recommending this hotel to anyone.

Stayed at th property for two nights in a business trip. The location is pretty odd considering there's a new (flyover) in front now and most cabbies don't know the place. The hotel is not popular amongst cabbies and they need to be taken or guided by the nearest landmark - Minto Park. The hotel was clean and the room comfortable but the lighting was really dim and the room had a gloomy environment. The coffee shop at the lobby was deserted and we didn't find any staff there in our two night stay. Breakfast was good with an average spread but the taste was good. We weren't provided with slippers in the room and had to ask for several times before they were provided. The wifi worked well which was a big plus as I was on a business trip. Overall the hotel is find but there are better options available in the city!

Normally I try to take out positive in everything but this hotel gave us really bad experience. As we reached the hotel, person on reception told us that room is not vacant (though we had already booked through expedia long back), he asked us to sit for 15 mins but it we had to wait for 2 hours. Then again we went to reception desk, a girl asked 2 mins for that turned to 30 mins. They gave us basic room whereas we had paid for Executive, finally we got one later. Room was filled with cigrate smell. At restaurant boy who was making omelets was making fun of foreigners speaking bengali. I had to literally stopped him saying do not laugh at your guests. Someone was cleaning table with tissue paper and throwing remaining food on the floor. All together terrible experience.

Not at all hospitable

I got so frustrated that i checked out of the hotel in 3 hr and took a new hotel . We were sitting in the common area and then she just went to use my washroom as she was not feeling well . Hotel people send a staff who checked whether a guest has went to the room. Then the reception called me and said guest were not allowed . I told them person is unwell if they want i can keep the door opened . She still kept on calling me after every min . It was very frustrating indeed.

Hotel has re-branded. It's not the Hotel Chrome, it's Park Prime. Checked-in, shown to room - rather bland, could do with re-paint. Main problem was located next to busy roads with ill-fitting window with little seal around the perimeter which allowed the outside noise in. Went to reception to advise about the window and asked to be moved. Response was the hotel was fully booked, no offer to send maintenance to look at the window. Off I went to the restaurant, halfway through meal I had something sharp in my mouth, pulled it out and discovered a piece of blue plastic! Advised waiter, he took it away and came back and said "we have no understanding how something like that could happen", as though I was lying. That was it, no offer of free/reduced meal, drink on the house etc. Bizarre response. I went back to my noisy room and just about nodded off until.. yes the hotel is located next to a mosque and at 3.15am there was a 20 minute call to prayer! In the morning after not sleeping I spoke with the Manager about the noisy room, food with plastic in and mosque. He showed me some alternative rooms but when I asked if they were immune from the 3.15am wake up call from the mosque he advised no! I had no option but to change hotel, I had booked and paid for 3 nights and used 1! I checked out and despite my poor experience of lack of sleep, badly maintained room, plastic in food there was again no reduction in my bill. Such a poor response to customer complaint. AVOID HOTEL PLEASE

Very wet and no so good as expected

Confort room but Kolkata is so wet, even in the hotel... Bathroom is very small and dirty (shower), the view from the room is horrible (better to close the curtains) and the restaurant is very slow, not so good. Only breakfast buffet is ok. I don't know how they can belong to "small luxury hotels of the world", it is certainly a good hotel in India, but absolutely not luxury you can trust me

仕事で利用しましたが、スタッフの方が全員親切で対応が柔らかく精神的にとても助かりました。Wifiも各部屋つながり立地も便利です。ルームメイクも真心を感じ好印象です。窓からの眺めが微妙だったり、床に少しだけ不潔感があったりと部屋の快適さの点で気になる点もありますが、ビジネス利用としてはとても良いのではないかと思います。 ちなみにシャワーの出は快適です。ドライヤーありません。

Stayed for a night on work related trip. Worst front staff I have ever experienced. No manners or etiquettes. Same with staff at breakfast buffet on terrace. Service to selected to customers. Hotel is generally good in terms of location and comfort. But for me service is important so I am rating it low. Though towels and other linen was not very clean.

Aufmerksamer Service und zentrale Lage

Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen, insbesondere war das Personal sehr aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. Auch Sonderwünsche (Tee auf der Dachterasse) wurden erfüllt. Abendessen und Frühstück im Khanasutra Restaurant waren gut, das Frühstück orientiert sich aber mehr an den indischen Essgewohnheiten. Da das Hotel auf Geschäftsreisende ausgerichtet ist, sind die Zimmer nicht sehr groß und die Ablagemöglichkeiten für Gepäck begrenzt. Dies war bereits der 2. (und nicht letzte) Aufenthalt im Hotel Chrome.

Excellent staff. Very comfortable hotel

Hotel chrome is a little oasis of luxury on ajc nose st. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly . Special mention to Kathleen in housekeeping who was really lovely and went out of her way to help me. Hotel v clean and comfortable . Location is about a 15 min walk to park st, but taxis aplenty
