"We were disappointed overall, and do not feel this property lived up to the Ritz Carlton brand. It is a large property, well maintained, with spacious rooms, but we didn’t feel there was anything unique in the style of the buildings…..it didn’t feel like an authentic Thai experience. The lobby and restaurants are not air conditioned, and it was hot with lots of mosquitoes. The breakfast buffet was great, but our dinners were mediocre and we had to fight the bugs and could not enjoy our meals. We will not return."

"The balony needs a handles to come in and out so we can avoid mozzies coming into the room alsp people to be quiet during the night the left and right next door was exremly loud people while i was a sleep and i wish there was a sign keep quiet and keep the noise down and control .all the rest is all good buffet is excelent."

"I stayed for 8 nights and had a great time. My room had plenty of space and I overlooked the pool and enjoyed sitting on the balcony. Each wing has a lift so it was no trouble with suitcases. Breakfast was included with plenty of buffet options to choose from. Staff were lovely and helpful."

"We had an amazing stay at Sala Chaweng and couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend our honeymoon. The included breakfast was one of the best we’ve experienced, with a great selection and excellent quality every morning. Our Garden Villa was beautiful, spacious, and had everything we could possibly need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. What really made the experience special was the staff. Everyone was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and genuinely couldn’t do enough for us throughout our stay. The app feature to contact the front desk was also fantastic – responses were always quick and efficient, making everything so easy. A special mention to the General Manager, who was constantly walking around the resort, checking in with guests and making time for a chat. It was clear how much he cares about both the hotel and the guest experience. The little extra touches throughout our stay made our honeymoon feel truly special, and we’ve made memories that will last a lifetime. We would highly recommend Sala Chaweng to anyone visiting Koh Samui and hope to return again in the future."

"The buggy system was cumbersome and inconsistent. Don’t think it was a personnel issues but just the system. Could be 2-20 mins different so was hard to plan when they would come. North was very good to us the entire trip! Bill was excellent with customer service the entire time. Khim was excellent at the pool and the tour to the islands."

"Good resort with good amenities, well maintained and very helpful staff. Kid's club was very good with hourly activities. We rate 4 out of 5 stars since the food was okay-ish but not great (compared to other restaurants on the island which are much better). Overall we would recommend and also would be happy to come back."
