We have tried different dishes from most of the food stalls and feel this one has the best quality, consistency, taste and price. They make a great Tom Khai Kai, Pad Se-eew Goong and Pad Thai(no tofu at it is dried out). Enjoy. #market

Palm Island Hotel needs a total overhaul

A very run down hotel. The room was clean but everything old. Bathroom was old and really needed to be replaced. The mattress was like sleeping on a concrete slab. The included Breakfast was not very nice. Undercooked eggs, processed meat sausage , cold toast, syrup fruit juice. The resort is very run down - the pool area was the best part, but again it needed work. The best thing about this hotel was the location- right on the beach. The Palm Island Hotel sits sadly among much nicer hotels on Chaweng Beach. The hotel needs a total overhaul- rooms, bathrooms, the restaurant, the surrounding gardens. We only stayed one night. It was very cheap, and reflected the quality of this botel

Great hotel, excellent location, beautiful pool!

This is a great hotel that has so much potential, but unfortunately it was a bit understaffed and needs a bit of tlc to make it the perfect stay! The pool is fantastic, the location is close enough to Chaweng to be walking distance from all the shops but not too close that you are kept up by Ark bar. The breakfast was disappointing as there was no breakfast bar to help yourself. The pool is beautiful but the Lounge Chairs need to be fixed. The bathrooms could also do with a bit of bleaching out. The managerial staff were fantastic, but it seemed like they were a bit under the pump and the beautiful gardens also could make the hotel first class if they just cut the lawns. The rooms were well kept, linen great and air-conditioner worked perfectly, so for us we were generally happy to have a good room, excellent pool and great location! It would be nice if the owners invested in a few upgrades to make it perfect! We would stay there again!

Pay alittle more for something much better

Location is great, staff is friendly. I loved the pool by the beach. I sayed in traditional room, not a cottage. found the room and facilities were very rundown. I didn't see any bugs, but highly anticipated they were hiding beneath the surface, so I spent at little time in my room as possible and slept with the light on :(

Tæt på en meget lavvandet strand

Hotellet er betegnet som trestjernet hotel, jeg vil give den én stjerne ! Hotellet er meget nedslidt og sengene er meget hårde, men vi fik en topmadras efter anmodning. TVét er fra firserne og meget uskarpt ! Dørene binder meget, og hvergang vi åbner døren ind til badeværelset knirker hele hotellet ! Rengøring er meget begrænset ! Der er MANGE myg efter solnedgang, og de efterlader grimme sår. den første aften fik vi over 50 myggestik ! Morgenmaden er ikke noget at råbe hurra for. Stranden er til tider meget beskidt og vandet lugter grimt og er heletiden krumset - også skal man passe på stenene lidt længere ude, og "gik på grund" og fik sår på benene !

Mysigt lungt hotell

Vi är så nöjda med vår vistelse här. Jättetrevlig personal, ligger på den lite lugnare delen av stranden som är väldigt fin. Poolen var lite smutsig och frukosten som ingick var american breakfast. Annars allt bra

Deutlich in die Jahre gekommen. Im Bad stinkt es.

Leider waren wir und ein mitgereisten Pärchen sehr enttäuscht. Optisch runtergekommen. Die Zimmer renovierungsbedürftig. Im Bad stank es permanent nach Kloake. Das Bad und Zimmer waren nicht sauber. Alles in allem leider entgegen den Bildern auf der Webseite nicht das was man versprochen bekommt. Keine Empfehlung ... für den Preis einfach viel zu teuer.

Nettes Hotel mit Bungalow Flair in Top Lage

Super freundliches Personal (einfach alle), beste Lage, alles auch zu Fuß erreichbar, schöner Pool, hübscher Garten. Getränke etwas überteuert und das leidige Betten- bzw. Matratzenthema! Strandabschnitt super, erst um die Ecke geht es dann so richtig ab.

Okej hotell, blev dock besviken då det kändes smutsigt på rummet och det var hål i lakan och kuddar, kändes ofräscht. Fantastisk strand med superfin sand! Tråkig frukost (ingen buffé) trevlig tjej i receptionen

Våran vistelse har varit hemsk hittills eftersom att det är översvämning här. Det började tom komma in vatten på rummet och allt är fuktigt.

Hotellrummen slitna men poolvillorna är i bra skick. Trevlig personal, dock sämre på engelska, lugnt hotell. Stänger 23 så ingen service/servering efter det. Nära många mysiga strandrestauranger. Helt ok.
