Lack of service

No restaurant open, no bar open, not even soft drinks could be offered. Photos must have been taken long ago. Seems out of date to what we met. No fridge or fan in the room in extrem warm weather. Breakfast was good! Felt like a compensation for not keeping up to the standards given for booking. Room cost and extra taxes and kur tax ended up to be far above value compared to other places we have stayed.

Expensive for what you get, or dont get!

Quite an odd feel about the place, not helped by the kitchen closing at 7.30pm and last orders at the bar half an hour later(it is nowhere near anything else), is it a hotel or bed & breakfast, we ordered a burger that was quite undercooked, I also ordered a double scoop of ice-cream, the wafer was soft and it cost €9 for the two scoops. The room on the 3rd floor was a good size but dated. Breakfast, after the burger I avoided anything cooked or dairy, coffee was ok though.

Schreckliches Hotel, das von seinem vergangenen Glanz lebt. Es mag vor Jahren großartig gewesen sein, aber heute nicht mehr. Bei unserer Ankunft konnten wir die Rezeption nicht einmal sehen, da das Licht ausgeschaltet war. Samstags und sonntags gab es keinen Service, nur unter der Woche (die Gegend ist allerdings ein Urlaubsziel). Das Zimmer war ok, aber es gab keinen Service, nur eine Notrufnummer! Nirgendwo Informationen auf Englisch!

Sehr nettes Personal und sauberes Zimmer. Wer nicht in einer unpersönlichen Bettenburg wohnen möchte, ist hier genau richtig. Ein Hauch von Schwarzwald Klinik und der Luxus der 80ger Jahre macht diesen Aufenthalt zu einer tollen Erfahrung. Das ein wenig in die Jahre gekommene Interieur ist eher eine Bereicherung als ein Kritikpunkt. Gerne Wieder!!!

Das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend. Das Frühstück war ausreichend und von guter Qualität. Das Haus selbst ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen und das Mobiliar müsste dringend erneuert werden. In der Beschreibung von Expedia war das Haus rollstuhlgerecht. Leider konnte man das Haus nur über eine Freitreppe mit 8 Stufen erreichen😢

Sehr ruhig gelegen. Der Empfang war sehr freundlich. Die Zimmer sind schon etwas in Jahre gekommen und könnten Mal ein Update gebrauchen, waren aber sauber und das Bett war Recht bequem. Auch das Bad war vollkommen in Ordnung.

Hotel liegt in einem riesigen Parkgrundstück. Es gibt auch diverse Nebengebäude. Frühstück gut, Abendessen auch erhältlich. Das Bett/Matratze war am Rand leider etwas "abschüssig".
