Werde diese unterkunft niemanden weiteremfehlen. Obwohl sie nahe der Partyzone full moon party ist und easy zu erreichen. Heruntergekommendes resort das nicht mal mehr 1 stern verdient hat. Punkt

Great air conditioning

This place is great! It’s comfortable, the air conditioning is fantastic! The pools were great! You get access to four different pools and they’re pretty quiet. We went for the full moon party. It was close enough to walk to all the shenanigans but still far enough away that it was quiet and peaceful when we went back to the room. The floors were a little dirty and the furniture is very outdated; it might be a little too overpriced for what it is, but I figure the prices were high because of full moon party.

All the way from Koh Samui just because of the fullmoon party, still acceptable for staying 1 night. Very old resort, nothing problem with public facilities, just the room was old, bed was hard too, TV channel snowy nothing can see. They have 2 swimming pool & a nice beach. Close to the Haad Rin pier, take about 5-7mins walk to full moon party and 7-11 just right beside the resort.

two things I didn’t like was that they asked for $100 or 3000 THB as a deposit upon arrival for incidentals etc. The wanted cash only. This was completely unreasonable as most hotels hold on to a credit card. Next is that the gym hours are from 1300-1900. It became obvious that they didn’t want people to use the gym, as usually people on vacation work out in the morning or late evening. Next, there was no one at the front desk until 8am. This made checking out difficult as the first ferry back to the mainland leaves at 7am.

Great place, right price!

We booked Buri Beach Resort, but it appears they're under the same ownership as the Sunset Beach Club, so we were put in a room there (we figured when less people are there they keep them in the same area?) Not the room I thought I booked, but either way, it was wonderful! There were 4 pools to choose from (as it was pretty quiet there, we had our own pool more than once), and is right on the ocean. The main pool at Sunset Beach even has a swim up bar, with 2 for 1 drinks in the evening! The daily breakfast was great. The restaurant food was good with a great view, which we ate at the first night (then realized there's much cheaper food in town). The concierge helped us book massages (which we got poolside - not bad!) and our cab/boat to the airport. There's a scooter rental at the hotel. Everyone working there was super helpful, nice, and welcoming, and always willing to drive us up the hill to our room with the golf cart. Location is wonderful - walk down the road and you'll find all of the restaurants, massage parlors & shops you could ever need. Close enough to full moon party activities, but far enough away as well. Can't beat the place for the price. Would recommend!

Decent hotel, a good choice right on the beach

The beach in front of this hotel is actually better than the beach in front of the sister hotel next door. Multiple pools, some with loud music, some with more privacy. Wifi working well, even for teleconf. and streaming. Room clean, yet the corridors in the building were used to keep used laundry during the day; not the best sight. Short walk along the beach to HR, somewhat longer along the road. 7-11 shop literally next door (as is the case in Thailand). The deposit is larger than usual, no big deal, but when signing the "pricelist" with all the items in the room ... you just hope these were in the room in the first place. Overall, a decent choice; I would come again (possibly depending on the price).

overall the stay was good. the rooms were a little dated as mentioned before but i would say pretty average nothing to complain about, beds, shower, was all ok. staff was pretty helpful during my stay and enjoyed the access to multiple pools right off of the beach. the location for me was the best part. you could walk down the beach and run into a few restaurants within minutes and to get to the downtown area of Haad Rin beach was just a 10 min walk. and a safe area. i walked home many a nights in the early hours of the morning by myself and never felt threatened at all. overall would stay again a very decent hotel.

Close to Haad Rin, yet with some privacy

Close to Haad Rin. 4 pools (some with constant music, some without; hint: the one inside the complex was the warmest). Large grounds (efectively 2 hotels), unfortunatelly the road linking them beach-side is full of trash (obviously the grounds are owned by an independent restaurant, not the hotel). The room: adequate, yet showing some age. Low water pressure in shower and toilet. Fast wifi in the whole complex. The welcome consists of signing a "price list" in case you damage anything. I guess they have their experience with FM party guests, yet it still leaves a bit of aftertaste. I would come again.

Disappointing

Buri Beach hotel is a great location: close to Haad Rin beach, easy access to Thong Sala and walking distance to restaurants and bars. The resorts could be amazing, but is run down and lacking cUdtomer service. At check in you pay 2000 baht deposit to cover a host of things including beach towels and the transfer of body paint onto hotel property, the room I was given had this body paint on the sheets and curtains, and ripped towels! The rooms are in dire need of a clean up and paint job. The pools are great, when the staff can be bothered to put the sunbed cushions out! Wouldn’t stay here again.

Vi havde booket 7 nætter på Buri Beach Resort og glædede os meget, da billederne så meget lovende ud. Dog blev vi pænt skuffede, da vi ankom og så os lidt omkring. 3 nærliggende hoteller var slået sammen til ét og alle faciliteterne var rykket til anden lokation. Dermed var restaurant, poolbar, spaområde m.m. på hotellet lukket ned og stod helt tomt - man kunne gå til det andet hotel, hvis man skulle benytte disse services. Det var praktisk talt et spøgelseshotel da alle bygninger stod og samlede støv. Når man brugte den ene pool på hotellet stod man selv for at slæbe madrasser til liggestolene hen til poolområdet, og hvis man ikke selv tog dem af når man var færdig, ja så lå de til næste dag (hvad så hvis det regner?)... Man kunne måske overveje at ligge madrasser på alle stole om morgenen, så poolen så præsentabel ud for gæsterne, samt tage dem af om eftermiddagen for hygiejniske årsager - og så virker det bare mere seriøst og professionelt. Vores værelse var super fint og rengøring var der ingen problemer med, men det ødelagde desværre lidt af oplevelsen, at der var SÅ tomt på hotellet - vi følte lidt, at vi boede på et nedlagt hotel. Men dejligt med 4 pools - det er selvfølgelig fordelen ved, at 3 hoteller er lagt sammen.

Havde 5-dages ophold på Buri Beach. Stedet var fint med gode omgivelser og flere forskellige pools ved resortet. Dog var der meget larm, især fra personalet, samt larmende gæster. Morgenmaden var standard. Værelserne var heller ikke noget specielt..

Splendido hotel vicino al full moon party

Abbiamo soggiornato nella parte nuova dell’hotel ed è stato tutto perfetto! Stanza molto bella e spaziosa, pulitissima, colazione varia sia dolce ( brioches, dolci, pane e marmellata) che salata ma sopratutto con vista mare. L’hotel dista 10 minuti a piedi dalla spiaggia del full moon party e dai vari ristorantini. Ci ritornerei di sicuro !!

Exceeded our initial expectations

Lovely hotel, we stayed in one of the hut rooms and it was really nice. The room was big, well air conditioned, clean and the beds were really comfy! Breakfast was perfect, it was a buffet. Staff were really friendly and helpful. We stayed during the full moon party and there was absolutely no issue with noise. The only little critique would be that the pools were a little dirty but nothing major. We would give this resort a big thumbs up for sure ! You get a lot more than what you pay for!

Das beste Hotel auf meiner Reise durch Thailand. Da das Hotel nicht ausgebucht war, habe ich ein kostenloses Upgrade bekommen. Ich hatte einen der neuen Bungalows mit Blick auf den Garten. Das Zimmer war modern eingerichtet. Es wurde jeden Tag gereinigt. Der Sonneuntergang am Pool/Strand ist einmalig. Wenn man etwas weiter am Strand entlang geht, findet man tolle einsame Buchten. Geschäfte befinden sich in unmittelbarer Nähe. Zur Fullmoon Party sind es zu Fuß 10 Minuten. Frühstück war in Ordnung. Essen im Hotel war auch gut, aber ich war meistens im Ort essen. Jederzeit wieder! Kann ich nur empfehlen.
