Loved this place. Tent was right on the beachfront and staff were friendly. WiFi could be better but loved this place.

Wir verbrachten zwei wunderbar paradiesische Nächte im Koh Ngai Camping Restaurant @ Bar. Das Zelt hat eine mehr als komfortable Stehhöhe. Der Boden ist mit Bambusmatten ausgelegt. Darauf liegen die Matratzen. Wie vermutlich überall in Thailand waren die Matratzen hart, was seine Gründe hat und daher in Ordnung ist. Ebenso befanden sich ein Ventilator und eine Stehlampe im Zelt, sowie eine Möglichkeit elektronische Geräte aufzuladen. Moskitonetze schützen die Fenster und den Eingangsbereich. Das Zelt kann man mit einem Kofferschloß (hat man ja eh vom Flug mit dabei) verschließen. Bis auf das Meeresrauschen und morgens früh das Vogelgezwitscher war es herrlich ruhig. Wir hatten das Glück ein Zelt in der ersten Reihe zu bekommen und hatten, abgesehen von der Restaurant-Bestuhlung, einen direkten Meerblick. Die Sanitärenanlagen (Gemeinschaftstoiletten und Duschen) befanden sich nur wenige Meter nach hinten gelegen und waren immer sauber. Der Strand war nicht sehr stark von Longtail-Booten frequentiert, so dass es auch tagsüber sehr ruhig war. Morgens wurde ein gutes amerikanischen Frühstück serviert. Abends mussten wir im Restaurant sehr viel Geduld mitbringen, so dass wir am 2. Abend ein anderes Restaurant wählten. Vom Strand aus ist es nur ein kurzer Weg bis zum Riff, an dem es sich gut schnorcheln ließ. Allerdings war die Sicht nicht immer optimal. Keine Ahnung, ob das zu anderen Jahreszeiten anders ist. Uneingeschränkt zu empfehlen!

Little paradise on the beach
This place is truly awesome! I had plans to stay only one night but stayed four nights! I had perfect little tent on the beach, decent bed, fan, lights.. Can't even descripe how amazing it was to go to sleep and wake up; the oceans calling, stars, dance of the palmtrees, the first rays of sunrise.. Heaven! Had happiest moments there! This little camping beats every 5 star resorts so far! I had amazing time, lovely people, great food/drinks/fresh fruitshakes/icecoffee etc.. beautiful beach/reef, ocean and nature! You can also book boat tickets/trips from here. Staff is friendly, you can also meet great finnish couple Jaana and Ville there! Im so happy that I found this place, definetly will go again.
