"The location of resort and room is so beautiful and romantic. We really loved it and it’s the perfect setting for relaxation.
Only downside is no bar and is in a Muslim area but getting a taxi is no problem if you want a non halal meal close.

"Great location, only one minute walk to an access way to Kata beach. For anyone who is not familiar with Kata, there are only 2 small alley to access to this beach. Even though the map show your hotel is very close to the beach, it may take 1/2 hour walk, if it's not close to the access. That's why I said Chanalai has a great location.
