"Safari House had plenty of space for our family of five. While not in the heart of Stone Town, it wasn't a far walk (10 min) to get there. Romaine, our host, was quite accommodating. The power and water shut off in the morning and he was over immediately to fix it (we didn't realize it was on a timer and was an easy fix). He also allowed us to store our luggage there after checkout time while we went out for a bit before our flight home. "

"Lovely little hotel with individuell rooms and a restaurant bar right at the beach. We had one of the rooms with a spacious balcony, where you have stunning views of the ocean. "PLEASE BE AWARE. This place overbooks clients so when you arrive they say there is NO reservation under your name. Then they send you to another location of much lower quality. People at the new location confirmed that they do this all the time. It is not a mistake but rather a scam. I left that second location and was lucky to find a nice hotel nearby for the same price. I did get a refund but most people will probably stay where they are forced to stay due to lack of options and uncertainty. I...
