"Its a very old property, significant to the city, well located. Overall the oldness and the smell it has did not appeal to us, even the bathrooms are quite old but clean overall. The ventilation also not tol good but livable. The breakfast was outstanding & the staff was super friendly. Price wise it charged like a normal best western but the oldness did not justify it."

"We had a very pleasant and peaceful stay at the Lodge at Skeena Landing. Our room was updated, spacious, clean, comfortable, and in fact, exceeded our expectations in every way. It was raining so we couldn't enjoy the deck, but we definitely enjoyed our private view into the woods. Check in and check out was quick and easy peasy."

"The hotel was nice. The breakfast was standard fare for a place that offers it - a good variety of choices although fruit choices could be better (only had apples and bananas), they ran out of bacon an hour before breakfast ended one day. Had a coffee bar 24/7. The pool was small and didn’t look particularly clean although my 8 year old granddaughter enjoyed it anyhow. Two complaints I had were the curtains didn’t work properly and so blackout curtain only went half way up because of the chain. Second complaint is the one that will keep me from coming back - the heating/cooling system has two speeds - high and turbo - it is noisy (especially the air conditioner rattled) - and I ended up plugging it and unplugging it constantly just to get some relief from the noise and blowing air. The hotel was also grossly overpriced on the weekend where I was paying well over $400 a night for a noisy (unruly kids tearing up and down the halls and yelling) second floor room overlooking the parking lot. That said the bed was comfy which is one of the most important things."
