"A two night stay at the Malanda Lodge recently was an absolute pleasure. Set amongst one of the most picturesque tropical settings in North Queensland, the Lodge offers one of the best overnight stays we have experienced, Tranquil, wonderful staff, a superb continental breakfast made the stay a memorable experience. Recommend putting the Lodge at the top of your list when travelling through the Atherton Tablelands."

"A late night requirement to stay in Atherton to then find out the towns accommodation was booked out found the Blue Summit Hideaway in Yungaburra, i know where we will be staying now when we travel to the tablelands. Clean room, friendly and helpful staff, lovely quiet position and a comfy bed, very happy with our stay at Blue Summit Hideaway."
"The staff we interacted with were lovely (especially the reception person). A few things would make things easier for first-time guests: 1. Install one more sign on the VERY long driveway to assure drivers they aren’t going astray; 2. Ensure that non-smoking rules are followed; 3. Make sure guests don’t blast music in an otherwise nice natural environment. To reiterate, I think the hosts’ hearts are in the right place -I imagine it’s hard to be on top of everything."
"Bugs in the sink.
Old. Run down. Not at all like the photos.
Smelly.
Didn’t feel safe staying there.
Mold on the shower curtain.
Breakfast wasn’t offered until 10:20am. Didn’t feel comfortable to accept the food/drinks.
Don’t stay the duration of the booking it was that bad. "

"Property called “Canopy Treehouses”. My booking stated “Deluxe Cabin” but upon arrival found we had been allocated a caravan that had an “eco toilet” (hole in the ground) that you couldn’t flush. I expected a treehouse in the trees. This was a birthday present for my Husband so was disappointed & thought it very expensive for what we got. Not recommended."
