"Rough rural property. Shower didn’t work and bathtub slippery and risky for seniors. Beds clean and comfortable and terrace with a lovely view of cow pasture, lots of swallows and birdsong. So — mixed. The Rising Sun restaurant connected was very good and inexpensive."

"A great spot to stay just outside Kilkenny. The attached restaurant had a fun vibe and great food. The bed was incredibly comfortable — after two weeks of hotel hopping around Ireland, this was our best sleep. Staff were easygoing and friendly to chat with. Breakfast was more limited than other stays, but still met our needs. Overall, a lovely and relaxing stay."

"Carhy and Paul were consummate hosts that anticipated our every need and then some. The chioce of breakfasts were the best that we have ever had and the evening meals were delicious and beautifully presented. Our room was bright, and so welcoming. The beds were confortable too.
