There are better hotels in the area
We booked this hostel to be able to relax and swim in the pool between safaris. Unfortunate this wasn’t possible. The pool was very dirty and unhygienic. When we came there were no chlorine in the pool and the staff didn’t have the right training to maintain it. It didn’t feel safe to use it. They tried for two day to fix it but without a good result. No circulation and cleaning of the water. We slept in the hotel for two nights. There were holes in the mosquito nets and when thy said they put up new ones there were holes in the new ones to. The linen were so worn out there were tears in the pillow cases. And after we came back after a day of safaris the room wasn’t cleaned. Before I took a shower I had to clean out all the gecko poo first and overall the place needs a renovation. The canvas needs to be treated for mold. Due to all our problem they accepted a refund for the third day that we spent in a different hotel. But we didn’t get any discount on the two nights we stayed there. The fridge in the room was also broken and couldn't be changes as all the fridges in all rooms were broken. The two positive things to say about the place is that is has an incredible view over the park and the staff was very friendly.
