"I rented a suite (# 401), supposed to be the best. The problem is that I found a lot of deficiencies inside. First fan and light bulb in the room wasn’t working, no light bulb in the lamp corner of the room. Fan and light bulb not working either in dining table. The sofa was broken on the left side. My wife had to clean the stove and top of the refrigerator because too much dust and grease. I called maintenance and case was resolved more or less, but believe me for the price you paid for the suite I deserve better. Housekeeping should monitor better and check everything before rent any property. Outside the property was well maintained. Thanks to give me the the opportunity to explain a review of the place. However all staff on premises were very nice, helpful, courteous and friendly. Hope my review will be considered for future reference."

"Every employee was very nice, tiki bartender was so friendly, the breakfast was amazing, big room with coffee and refrigerator were nice to have, pool, beach and kayaks were fun. easy parking and access right into the room, can’t wait to come back after the remodel. Sunset from the beach was a highlight."

"Everything including the price was good but someone across the haul had a dog and they would go out about 5 leaving the unhappy dog until about 10 P M. The dog barked the whole time, not really loud in my room but annoying. I did not complain."

"Staff was nice and helpful, kayaks on site where great and easy to reserved and use. They also had bikes available. Overall nice Keys stay. Downside, not actual beach access, but water access (if kayaking, yet skiing). Rooms were very big and nice. Great restaurant right next to hotel. Also hotel was under renovations so many areas were “under construction”, but overall great place for the weekend."

"The Pelican was nice. It was a little dated. They have a tiki bar but no bar. I think music would be great when you’re sitting out by the dock. We booked 2 days but left after 1. There is not a whole lot to do around the property. No town to go to for restaurants."
