"We are very pleased everytime we come into Port Lavaca to know we have a place like Royal Inn to lay our heads down at night. The rooms are super clean. Everytime we have stayed here at Royal Inn we have stayed in a different room and each room has been clean, free of insects, A/C is cold and on point, and the staff has always been absolutely charming. The rooms smell great and the grounds around the motel are clean and well kept. Now, let me tell you, if your hungry, they have a hot breakfast in the morning and awesome coffee. They also have cold breakfast and/or apples, oranges, bananas and some other type of snack if you just want to take something quick on the road. If you're lucky, you may catch them on a day where they make lunch, and DINNER TOO!! That is a "ROYAL" treat!!! We've been coming here over 2 years now and there is nowhere else we would rather stay than Royal Inn Motel. Thank you to all of you 💕 at Royal Inn for making each stay memorable 💕 We greatly appreciate you! You are always in our prayers! May you always exceed and proceed in your business 🙏 from our 💕 to your's 💕"

"The room was clean, and the beds were comfortable, everything worked fine, except the vanity sink would not drain properly. The AC was super cold. The staff was helpful with all our needs. We did not get to try the breakfast because our fishing boat left so early. In general everything was good and I would recommend it to others."

"Rooms were very clean, staff was extremely friendly and breakfast buffet was very good, Only complaints, really low toilets in the bathrooms, I'm short with really bad knees and it was low for me, I can imagine someone tall trying to sit that low. They need to upgrade to chair height and there was no hot tub as advertised which was really disappointing."

"This is my second time here. Back to back weekends. Y'all, if you want to go to a place that feels more like going home where everyone at the end of your stay is like family to you, come here! Very safe and quiet. Great area. Lots of places to eat, although the food in the dining room is great, and the bar is great, too. Plenty of coffee and juice and a great hot breakfast. Lots of cereals and yogurts. By the end of this second stay, I knew almost all of the guests, their kids were calling me "Miss Leigh," and giving me hugs, and the adults, esp. the fellow females, were like sisters. If you want to be by yourself, you can do that, too. I am an extrovert, and I like meeting people, swapping stories, and the like. This is a gem in south Texas, for sure!"

"A lot of maintenance going on. The inside door locks did not work, but after notifying staff, maintenance was seen making repairs. Overall it was a good stay. Hats off to the breakfast cook for providing fresh, hot foods!"
