"Friendly staff, hotel lobby and bar nice. Rooms are a little dated. Been a while since I’ve seen single use shower gels and shampoo in a hotel. Maybe dispensers would be more Environmentally friendly."

"Liked the exterior, gardens and the loumge with lovely open fire. The modern part was clean but unexceptional. The rooms were large clean and comfortable. An accessible bathroom and walk in shower would have been more suitable for our needs but the bath with inclusive shower would have been acceptable ..."

Didn't go into Kendal itself. We went for a meal in the evening but did not explore the area.

We walked from the hotel into town which is just one straight road and was pleasantly surprised by the amount of different shops cafes and restaurants. There is definitely every shop you need. Loved it
